Dr. Ghazala Amjad Rehan, MD

I’m not quite sure how to adequately express the impact that Dr. Rehan had on my life. She did not see me as broken in need of fixing. She saw me as a whole person. She encouraged me to view myself through that same lens. Although I initially sought her out for medication management I came to realize her role was deeper and broader. She never had an appointment with me that felt as though she was only interested in a brief assessment so she could quickly move on to her next patient. She dug deep into how I was feeling overall. I felt valued as a person. She challenged me to value myself more. She is intense and passionate about life. She wanted me to experience life in a more fulfilling way and led by example. I will truly always be grateful for her role in my life. I believe she played a part in saving it.

Receiving services from Dr. Rehan has been a pleasure and truly game changing. Prior to meeting with her, I was really struggling with overwhelming anxiety that was interfering with my daily activities. After being referred to Dr. Rehan, she recommended me some medications that have worked wonderfully. I have felt such a relief from the anxiety that I had experienced before. I now feel better than ever and have found a renewed enjoyment in my daily activities. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Rehan for the services that she has provided me.

Dr Rehan was always easy to get in contact with, and was super helpful when I ran into pharmacy issues (pharmacy being out of prescription I needed) and she was always willing to make calls around to be sure I got my medication. I would not have been able to graduate in the top of my class without the mental health support I received from Dr Rehan.

I have been fortunate to have Dr. Ghazala Rehan as my psychiatrist for the past two years through California State University San Marcos, and as I graduate, I want to express my deep gratitude for her care. Dr. Rehan has been so much more than someone who simply prescribes medication—she approaches her work with a rare blend of wisdom, compassion, and holistic insight that truly sets her apart. Throughout my time with her, Dr. Rehan consistently took the time to understand the full picture of my mental health, always considering the emotional, physical, and even spiritual aspects of well-being. She listens deeply, offers thoughtful guidance, and brings a calming, reassuring presence to every session. Her ability to see beyond symptoms and support me as a whole person made a tremendous difference in my healing and growth. I cannot thank Dr. Rehan enough for the support she has given me during such a pivotal time in my life. She is truly an extraordinary psychiatrist, and anyone who… has the opportunity to work with her is in excellent hands.

I thoroughly enjoyed the relationship that I built with Dr. Rehan and would recommend her to anyone. She helped me navigate a very uneasy time in my life. I switched to new insurance which is the only reason I moved to a different in-network provider.
