Dr. Gianni L Faedda, MD

I do not have enough words to thank Dr Faedda.He literally saved my life, and made it easier for my family, my husband, children and those who had to deal with my psychology. I have many co morbid conditions, depression, i believe for dealing with a slight but real Asperger’s syndrome, and ups and downs ( profound) which came to a point when i was researching for ECT.I was referred by a Doctor close to us to Dr Faedda, i believe eight years ago. I can only say that professionally and as a human being Dr Faedda is totally outstanding.The results of his treatment are overwhelming and improving with time.

I WOULD LIKE TO WARN ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING USING THIS DR RUN AWAY. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD WITH ANY SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL> TOTALLY UNORGANIZED, DISRESPECTFUL, AND INCOMPETENT. TOOK UP TO A WEEK TO RESPOND TO REFILLS AND LIED CONSTANTLY> WONT RESPOND TO AN EMAIL OR CALL> HIS SECRETARY IS AWFUL AS WELL

I have been a client of Dr. Faedda's for more than a decade. During that time I have been relatively stable but recently, due to changing circumstances, I lost my psychological balance. Dr. Faedda guided me through everything and made himself available 24/7 to assist as I gained my stability and health back. He is caring and concerned but, more importantly, very skilled. I am again feeling grounded and able to manage my life in a fully engaged and functional manner. I trust him with my emotional health without question. His intervention has never failed to put me back on track.

Dr. Faedda is fabulous. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him.

Doctor Faedda is knowledgeable and experienced, his diagnosis was accurate and the level of care is excellent. I particularly appreciate his careful approach to medications - not too heavy but still effective.

Thid doctor saved my life. I was diag depressive and he corrected this dx to Bi-polar after many years. I was stable for almost 8 years. At this point in time, Faedda left the Forest hills practice with no warning or explanations. We were parcelled out to other doctors in that practice. That was no way to treat mentally ill people. It took my a while to get over the abandonment issues his abrupt leaving caused.

While Dr. Faedda may in fact be a respected peer in his field, his one sided analysis of Bipolar as the consistent and only possible disorder begs the onset of Beyes Theorem. If you look for only Bipolar, then you will be met with answers reinforcing your thought pattern. Nice, but obviously set in his way. Get one or two other consults, or take his analysis with a grain of salt. Or perhaps pasta....
