You may wish to be careful with what you discuss with Dr. Abilita. If for some reason he decides he does not like you. He will use information in a negative manner that would effect your SS disability. Some of us who are disabled were drug or alcohol dependent it our early stages. In other words. We self medicated. This information can be used to deny your disability. This is a warning. The doctor has strong religious beliefs. If you don't fit. He may work against you. I also wish to make you aware of the two secretary's that work for him. They are rude and obviously enjoy misleading you. Its some kind of power trip I guess. Three times they have lied about calling in prescription's or telling you the doctor is not in. They are devious. I used to trust these people. I found out the hard way. They are not the moral persons I thought. I have had enough misery in my life. The people you go to for help should not be increasing it.

Dr. Abelita has me on the meds that I need. He is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. For some reason the receptionist can be somewhat brusque and difficult. Let that go because Dr. Abelita is worth seeing.

A very kind Doctor with all the right stuff to fit the bill. I have been seeing him for nearly 20 yrs.. This doctor saved my life and continues to keep it on the up and up! Way to go Doctor!

The office staff is extremely rude, and trying to get refills is difficult. I ran out and was out for 4 days before I could get them to call it in, and that was with me calling daily. Dr. Abelita is kind, but is hard to hear, and frequently interrupts you to try to finish your sentence. I left for another doctor as I was frustrated with him asking me what medications I wanted to take. I wasn't comfortable with that-- I'm not a doctor, I haven't researched and learned about medications... Isn't that their job?
