Dr. Gil Dechavez
Gil DeChavez practiced dentistry and operated a laboratory
in the Phillipines before he moved to the US in 1985. After he
and his wife Teresita established their home and careers
here in Queens – Gil attended NYU College of Dentistry and
did his extended hospital work at St. Vincents medical
Centers while at the same time managing his private
laboratory which serviced the tri state area.
Gil has an office in Manhattan as well as his Queens facility and often you will see one of his college children stopping in. Jillian is a Senior at New York University studying pre law. Vince is in his first year at State University of New York at Stony Brook preparing for entrance to medical school.
Gils associates in Manhattan feel that his value to his patients is unparalleled due to the years he spent as a laboratory technician. The skills that he gained over 25 years making restorations for some of New Yorks finest dentists are invaluable in his esthetic work now.
His joys in …life other that his patients and family include hours on the tennis court as well as fishing with his friends. The office he personally designed and created is one of warmth and a source of pride for all who know him.
