Dr. Gilbert H Daniels, MD

Dr Daniels is amazing. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer at 20 yrs old. I had a few bumps and Dr Daniels was always right on track. He knew what the course to take, acknowledged my symptoms, recommeding the right course and also giving me the reassurance I needed to keep going. Wonderful, caring, oustanding doctor!

Dr. Daniels had me and my husband laughing during my biopsy procedure. He put us at ease and explained things well. Not only is Dr. Daniels super, but his staff is amazing too.

Refuses to acknowledge my symptoms and gives no guidance whatsoever.

This was my first visit and he immediately made me feel comfortable. He personally leaves his office at MGH and gets his patients from the waiting room instead of using his staff. Right away, that me feel comfortable. I felt like I was being advice from a down to earth Harvard professor. He was friendly, thoughtful, and explained everything. One side: if he got one more award or certification, he would need to add another wall to his office. I felt very confident in and comfortable with him.

Eleven years ago, at the age of 21, my daughter was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Eleven years later, my daughter is cancer free, and we attribute the wonderful care, and subsequent cure, to Dr. Daniels and the surgeon he recommended for her. We are grateful to him, his staff, and his extensive experience and expertise in thyroid cancer. He is absolutely the very best.

I have been seeing Dr. Daniels for about 20 years, and he is thorough, remembers all my details (even if it means he pre-scans his notes, which is FINE). He cares and is engaging. Wish there were more like him.

I've been under Dr. Daniels' care for over 20 years. When I went in to see him for my first appointment he proceeded immediately with all of the tests to diagnose and treat my thryroid cancer. There was no wait time. He took me immediately and continued to follow up with any testing/appointments withouth any wait time. He is THE most compassionate Doctor I have ever seen. I would recommend anyone see this wonderful Doctor.

I feel VERY fortunate to be under Dr. Daniels care. He wasted no time in diagnosing my condition and speeding me to surgery. First visit resulted in a phone call that afternoon for second visit. His diagnosis phone call and the next follow-up visit were on the same day. I felt like I was a priority.I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for an appointment for over ten years, which I find astonishing given the hour plus waits I have endured with other doctors. Also, generally nice guy.

As with previous patient, apparently misdiagnosed my form of thyroid cancer. Drs at the Brigham, Beth Israel, and Univ of Penn all contradicted his analysis.
