Dr. Giles R. Scuderi, MD

If you are in need of knee replacement and your coverage will not cover a Doctor trained in the latest techniques of knee replacements, Dr. Scuderi has to be good because knee replacements are all he does. Do not go to him for a second opinion or a first evaluation. He will spent 3 minutes in your room with with before telling you to schedule your surgery with his nurse. Not trained in robotic replacement , partial replacement or any of the new techniques you may have read about. His staff will not send your prescriptions, or help you in any way other than to book your surgery because they are completely overwhelmed by the amount of knee surgeries he performs. If his staff is inattentive to a patients needs prior to surgery think about how you will feel when you need pain meds or have questions about your post operative surgery. My personal opinion STAY AWAY

Dr. Scuderi is terrific!! He has exactly the right mix of professionalism and personality! He is efficient, not hurried!! I always leave Dr. Scuderi's office better informed about my medical issues than I was when I arrived for the appointment!

Great staff, professional, courteous, efficient

I had a meniscus tear repaired by the doctor almost two years ago. I returned one year after surgery because of continuing pain. I have not had a day without pain since he touched my knee. He was dismissive and could have cared less. He had no interest in discovering the source of my continuing pain. No followup at all.

Meniscus removed and clean up arthritis. Done at Franklin. He is a doctor’s doctor. Highly recommended

I really like Giles Scuderi and actually worked for him in another group over 20 years ago. When I developed knee issues, I went to see him. Some staff were a little difficult, but others friendly. After xrays and an exam, he said I had a meniscus tear and no arthritis. I went for an MRI. He called me directly after reading the results and confirmed the tear and some arthritis and I should try PT before ACL surgery. I read the MRI report and was very confused because it looked more serious. I went for PT and the therapist confirmed it was more severe. In addition to several complex tears, I had severe osteoarthritis and most important a lot of cartilage loss. I could barely do PT. Finally went to another doctor (5 years out - amazing education), who drained a ton of fluid, gave me Cortisone and a TKR is likely one day. So I am disappointed in Dr. Scuderi and his staff of 5 fellow, residents, medical students who missed the boat.

Cant express my disapointment in Dr Scuderi. Very poor results after tkr. After months of rehab still in a lot of pain, unable to do stairs cause of poor rom. Walking is a thing of the past cant do a block without going straight legged. I have been basically been blamed for the poor results. Reason behind this explanation is cause i had a acl. repair and did cortisone injection. He has given me no answers for a solution. Will be looking for a new doctor for help and understanding.

I met Doctor Scuderi for the 1st time yesterday.As a retired ER nurse I am somewhat experienced when it comes to doctors . He was cordial and attentive to my complaints.He examined me and explained so I would understand,I expose the fact I was a ER nurse and understood more then the average person.He told me he was aware and explained to ALL so they understood..
