Dr. Gisela G Leyva, MD

I have seen this rude , argumentative, controlling, and misinformed doctor about what a patient pays, and what insurance pays six times. She has Cancelled and rescheduled four visits out of six at the last minute and expected to be accommodated. She gave me 20 minutes of a session once and billed Medicare for 30-40 minutes to get paid for travel to her next appointment. She is cold, discriminating and I should have taken the reviewers' advice not to see her.

I have never met a more incompetent physician. She is ill tempered, antagonistic and authoritarian. She is easily threatened by patients who can think for themselves. Stay away.

Please be advised NOT TO USE THIS DOCTOR! She needs to retire from the practice because she does NOT CARE. If I could give Zero stars I would. BAY CARE HEALTH SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE ASHAMED!!!!!!!! LAWSUITS!!!!!!!!

Please be careful allowing any loved one to be seen by this woman. Her inhumane treatment and neglect of patients is dangerous and legitimately destabilizing. She uses her authority to illegally punish patients. Seems to make decisions with insurance money in mind, not a humans wellbeing.

Horrible doctor and horrible human. Should have lost hey license to practice long ago.

Very rude and unprofessional. She gets angry at patients and families if you ask questions. She shouldn't be treating patients

Dr Leyva saw my husband's mother while she was an in patient. We found her to be extremely rude, condescending and in a disinterested. My husband and I were shocked at her terrible bedside manner and made it clear that we did not want her to see my mother-in- law ever again!

Dr. Leyva does not seem to care about her patients but more about money. She packed patients into her day program and barely fed food. She was unprofessional.
