Dr. Giselle Cabello Namazie, MD

An annual physical - no problem. But good luck if you need to schedule an appointment, have a follow up question, need a referral, have a non-routine medical need. People who don't seem to know the patients or the practice are charged with patient interface and triage inappropriately. You will need to wait months to get in to see your primary, which defeats the whole purpose of having a primary and a PPO. Doctor seems rushed and only half paying attention.

I have had the good fortune to have been accepted by Dr. Namazie as a patient some years ago. She, and the office have always been cheerful and professional. Over the years I have come to admire Dr. Namazie's moral character, integrity and common sense. She is the most empathetic and compassionate doctor I have ever had, and I am 71.

I couldn't get this doctor to call me back if my life depended on it--which it actually did! They had found a large abdominal mass in the ER, and I wanted to treat it as an outpatient. I needed a prescription for an ultrasound. This doc NEVER spoke to me, and after waiting 9 /12 HOURS to hear from her, the receptionist called to tell me that the doctor thought I had an infection and I should come get a prescription for antibiotics. Two days later I had to have emergency surgery to remove the mass. If I hadn't gone back to the ER, I would've bled out.

After having history with Namazie since 2009. she had the nerve to tell me I didn't need a mammogram, after calling and leaving numerous messages "that I had a lump and needed an authorization for a mammogram." Then she wanted to see me, I had to ask for a breast exam, then I had to ask her for an authorization for a mammogram. I went to Radiology immediately, had to explain that my doctor has ignored me and my lump, they took me in immediately. Radiology detected a 5cm lump the same day Namazie saw me and couldn't find anything? Then she never called to check on me or even authorize my mastectomy being my primary doctor for years! UCLA said there was no malicious intent. She just ignores her patients calls for help. She works for ucla in Westlake Village, cant't take care of her regular patients and she's accepting new patients!!! What is UCLA THINKING?

I went to see here as she is now connected with UCLA Health Services and is in the same building as my Onology Doctor. Bad Idea, she took me off my regular blood pressure med and put me on a drug, I had horrible allergic reactions over the weekend almost ended up in the hsp. You will never speak to her over the phone she never calls you back and her staff are idiots. After several calls some nurse called in another sulfa drug and after looking that one up on the internet and realizing that I am allergic to sulfa drugs. I could not believe she carries the logo UCLA. I would not go to here if possible. Doesn't care, doesn't listen, spends time with you for some reason in the beginning? but other than that it is not a place for people to go. The fact that she never asked me about sulfa drugs is wonder of her medical education. she took me off meds without lowering the dose first. Crazy, I really had hoped she would work out and be a concerned and caring Doctor the kind you do find… At ucla.

My interaction with her was during a stay in the hospital and she was the on call doctor to her group practice. We have never met, but I found her to be curt, rude and lacking in compassion. Despite being the doctor on call, it was a major inconvenience for her to be called by the nurse at 9 pm to address a medication issue. She was condescending to me, said she would order the meds, then called the nurse, telling her I could not have the meds. She told the nurse not to call her back with any additional questions from me. Certainly makes me question her reasons for being in medicine since her actions clearly indicated she has no regard for the comfort and welfare of the patient. It was all about her.

I have tolerated the poor staff in her other office in Agoura Hills thinking Dr. Giselle Namazie actually cared about my heatlth. Her office staff is rude and snappy. They never called in my prescriptions and lied saying they did finally admitting they forgot. I was on dangerous meds that needed supervision before changing or stopping. On an emergency, she would not see me and said she would call. A month later, she never called, never called in the lower dose prescription. She has no business treating people with anything more than aspirin. I am disgusted by her lack to abiding to the Hippocratic Oath of Medicine.

Dr. Giselle Namazie is a healer in the best sense of the word.She has diagnosed my conditions when experts at UCLA and Cedars Sinai could not.Whatever the wait time, she is well worth it.She has saved my life at least twice.

You will never speak to the doctor unless you have an appointment. Even if you leave a message the office staff is very slow to get back to you and can be rude. I would have a great appt. and then find my prescriptions were altered by mistake. I would not refer my friends. You are just one of a million in her office.

On my first visit a patient had just finished her visit and said don't you love Dr. N? I said it was my first time seeing her...She said I would absolutely LOVE HER as my doctor. I have never in my life felt so comfortable with a doctor. She spent so much time with me and seemed to genuinely cared about me as a person and patient. I actually look forward to my doctor visits now. It is so refreshing to have a doctor you feel so comfortable with.
