Dr. Glen Stuart Lovelace, MD

When I got an automated on a Saturday, telling me my appointment was with a different provider, and there was no way to leave a message, I should have know things would get worse. I left a message for there answering service and patiently wait for them to call me on Tuesday. On Monday I get a call again asking me to confirm my appointment with the wrong provider. (They took President's Day off.) So Tuesday rolls around and they still have yet to return my call for my appointment with the wrong provider on that day. I finally call them and was asked "So do you want to reschedule?" Um no. I am a high risk pregnancy and I have already been waiting over 3 weeks. The lady that answered the phone was beyond rude and just kept making excuses. I should have listened to the two different medical professionals who warned me about his staff and his manner of doing things. When a front office staff is that rude, it makes it clear to run and get a new provider. I can only imagine what the next few… months would have been like. She did say that that is how they schedule people and that "I never would have had my first appointment with Dr. Lovelace." I said that was unacceptable to schedule people with a different provider without informing them. If I was Dr. L,ovelace I would do some serious investigating into how my front office is treating people. As Boise grows, the knowledge of their poor customer service will become more evident.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lovelace's for almost 20 years. He diagnosed my endometriosis in 2005 for which I had two laparoscopic surgeries, including a hysterectomy. He also performed another necessary surgery for me in 2010. I could not have been in better hands for these procedures. I've had nothing but positive outcomes from these surgeries. I had such good results that I referred my mother to him in 2007. He performed a very necessary surgery for her, as well, relieving her symptoms. He was able to perform multiple procedures, by himself, that my mother was told (by another provider) would require a gynecologist as well as a general surgeon. I knew I needed to get my mother to Dr. Lovelace. Again, another positive outcome. I've been so appreciative of Dr. Lovelace's thorough care for me (and my mother). He even referred me to another top notch surgeon for a minor hernia surgery - Dr. Lovelace actually diagnosed the hernia that a general surgeon missed on exam. He… is thorough, compassionate and just a down to earth good person. The Boise community is lucky to have him!

For years I have been living with my pain, and thinking that this was normal, a friend recommended Dr. Lovelace and in one visit I had hope. Fast forward two months and one surgery. I am now a new woman loving life. Pain free sleeping great and no more mood swings. Best part my husband isn't afraid to talk to me now. Thank You all at Dr. Lovelace's office.

I did not want a hysterectomy! I came to Dr Lovelace to get a second opinion because my previous OB/GYN stated I had no choice but to get a hysterectomy. As it turns out they were very wrong! Dr Lovelace explained his exam in great detail and I am keeping my uterus. I never felt rushed and am so relieved I listened to my best friend and set up an appointment. I would recommend him to anyone. It is quite clear that Dr Lovelace cares about every patient he sees!

Dr. Lovelace is one of the smartest people I have talked with. He is passionate about what he does and that always evident when he responds to questions. He is not the the most enthusiastic care provider, but if there were ever to be an emergency with me or a pregnancy you would want Dr Lovelace by your side.

Dr. Lovelace has been my doctor for 15 years and he has delivered all six of my babies. We always felt that we were important and that he knew us and our situation. My pregnancies weren't always easy, and Dr. Lovelace was mindful of me and made sure I was well taken care of. With each of my pregnancies and births, Dr Lovelace was attentive, respectful, and considerate of my wishes and needs. He is very good at what he does and and continues to study, research, and stay up to date in his field. With as much knowledge that he has and continues to gain, he still values the insights and "intuitions" of his patients. We are truly grateful to him and the excellent care he gave to me and each of our babies.

What an amazing dr with no interests in an unnecessary c section.

If you happen to miss a call from Dr. Lovelace the chances of finding out a result from a test can be difficult. Waiting for the results of a biopsy are difficult enough- I missed his call due to a meeting and when I called back I was told he couldn't talk and would call after hours, two days and now the weekend...Not Good

I switched to Dr Lovelace during my 1st pregnancy and have never been happier - 3 babies later. I had gestational diabetes. He is an excellent and very thourough doctor and I've recommended him to numerous people. It may take longer to get in to see him, but it's only because he really listens and discusses your health. I've had to wait an hour, but it's because of a delivery - if I was the one in labor, I'd want him there, not seeing patients in the office, so what's an hour, really.
