Dr. Glendon Courtney Burress, MD

I can’t speak to how good the doctor is because we didn’t even get to see him. He and his staff have no hearts, and they work with children?! I had my 8 week old scheduled with Dr. Burress for 10:30 AM, unfortunately my car didn’t start so I immediately called an uber and called the office to notify we’ll be running late, begging them to take us. They refused even though i said it would’ve been only 15 min. I explained that my daughter is in so much pain and we had been waiting for the appt for the last 2 weeks, that we needed help and they didn’t care. Offered me another appt 10 days later. I have never dealt with people more heartless than these.

I NEVER take the time to write reviews but felt inclinded to do so because I absolutely love Dr. Burress! After years of Doctors dismissing my child's gastro issues and him constantly having problems, Dr Burress actually listened and helped him. He has helped him fix the numerous health issues my child has had. He is great with him and not only gives him health advice but overall life things kids need to hear. We have followed him from his previous location. We drive more than an hour to see him. I will follow him anywhere. Great personality and great with kids.

I do not usually find it necessary to write a review but this doctor was wonderful. He listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. He also had a wonderful bed-side manner.... my daughter even mentioned how kind he was. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking.

Worst experience with any doctor, if you can call that. This "THING" was very rude and demeaning toward my child with her eating disorder. All that was done was to prescribe some ensure drinks.

Great doctor, my favorite out of all my child`s specialist and primary doctors. Takes time to listen and explains things in "plain english". Also, compassionate and great towards my child.

Dr. Burress is FABULOUS!He has a lovely warm & professional bedside manner... He spoke with my son appropriately for his age & listened to my concerns, as well. Dr. Burress fully investigated my son's gastro-issues, then provided treatment options and follow-up to successfully treat my son's ongoing gastro-issues.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR BURRESS! And have referred a couple friends whose babies had severe "tummy troubles".

Dr. Burress always spends a great amount of time with us and thoroughly answers all questions that we might have. He will err on the side of caution, which always helps calm my nerves. My girls love him!

I was greatly disappointed because this doctor had prejudged me and my child. Instead of really listening he had preconceived ideas. Instead of helping us, which if we would have followed his advice my son would still be having problems, he could have harmed him. We went to Madison and Chicago where we got the correct help we needed because we had doctors who were open minded and not so quick to judge. My son is enjoying great health now thanks to these other physicians! Shame on you Dr. Burress. Please LISTEN instead of JUDGING! Your judgment was SO wrong in our case! I'm sure you have good medical skills but be sure and use them with good listening skills!
