Dr. Glenn Ross Gangi, MD

I was very impressed with Dr. Gangi, he met me on a Sunday morning and did surgery. He is very professional and took very good care of me. Thank you so much!!!!!!

While doing an xray for something else, my primary doctor saw a large kidney stone in one of my kidneys. He said it could stay there the rest of my life and never bother me. I panicked and scheduled an appointment with Gangi for an honest second opinion. He told me horror stories of how the stone could shift and I could lose a kidney and 1/3 of people don't make it through this surgery. He suggested lithotripsy. Telling me I would have the procedure on Friday and be back to work by Monday. Sounds simple - sure let's do it! Keep in mind that I was having no problems at all! I asked him if it would hurt and he replied "Won't hurt me." The result was that the stones started "tiling" and could not be passed. I ended up having a tube placed from my kidney - absolute agony for a week! For a simple procedure, I ended up hospitalized 3 times, put to sleep 3 times, out of work for a month, and bankrupt in the process with over $80,000 in medical bills. Gangi never mentioned any of… these possible complications when he was giving me his horror story talk - only what could happen if I didn't have the procedure. My primary physician said "Why'd you go and do a thing like that. I don't know why he would have treated you so aggressively." Each time I was in the surgical waiting area, prepped and waiting, I was surrounded by Gangi patients. We were lined up for procedures. I went in for an honest second opinion and was scared into having an unnecessary procedure with major complications. He's got his mind focused on the $$$$ not the patients! Funny his assault charges don't come up online anymore either.

Outstanding MD, we (my husband and myself) as well as many of our friends have seen Dr. Gangi - we all concur that he is the BEST! His staff is great as well in all the different offices and hospitals. Would highly recommend him as a urologist.

Dr Gangi and his staff were great very personal, very caring and acted quick about removing my tumor . They saw me on fri , took my tumor out on Mon and told me no cancer on Weds ! Wonderful Doctor and staff !

Saw Dr. Gangi in 2012, he diagnosed me as over active bladder syndrome, at 29yrs old, I guess it happens. This is with 3 months of agony also. never did a cat scan, in fact no one did. When I finally went to the er in so much pain, it turned out I had 2 - 9mm kidney stones in my urethera, and they had been like that for 3 months, he was my last hope. And he stuck me on over active bladder medicine. I am not sure if he didn't want to deal with me, or really thought that was what was wrong. But cat scans are awesome!!

Dr. Gangi performed my first ever procedure of any sort on me I was afraid...the fear was gone as soon as he began. At my first visit I noticed that the other patients were conversing with each other and seemed very happy, if I have to wait (and usually do), I enjoy my time there. Dr. Gangi found out that I was in an extremely stressful at home. With my permission, he called the local police and put us in a private office to talk.

Definitely takes care of his patients; well organized; accurate diagnosis; & outstanding credentials. He helped many people in my family throughout the years and was well known by myself and people I knew. Another Dr. I had been seeing would not answer the phone on the weekends and he came to help me immediately and performed the procedure I needed. He is caring and down to earth. His experience in New York as a physician makes him the BEST there is. His vast knowledge in comparison is unbelievable. He is nothing less than a God Send!!! However, if you don't won't to wait for an appointment, go see another Dr. who doesn't have a wait time; he will not turn ANYONE down. I owe him my life for helping me when others could not!
