Dr. Glenn R Leavitt, DO

He is the best Obgyn I have used. He got me in quick and did surgery quickly to get me out of pain from needing ovary removes. He is an excellent Dr.

He used TVT on me after telling me he was going to use my own tissues. I didn't find out this hack lied until recently going over my medical records from his surgery, because I am one of several mesh victims. According to Dr. at U of U hospital where I had to have partial removal surgery, due to complications from the mesh such as pain, bleeding, constant bladder spasms and his office only sent my medical records to them as I lay on a gurney waiting to go into surgery, after my surgeon threatened them by reminding them of the legalities. So not much time to review before my first removal surgery. All this has caused me such awful, unbearable physical and emotional pain, family problems, money problems and now having yet another reconstructive surgery where my thigh muscle will have to be cut to make a new vagina because between him and the first inexperienced removal, I need a graft of harvested tissue. The expert (over 1600 removals) Dr. Raz at UCLA couldn't even get a speculum in. I… feel used as a lab rat! I believe he KNEW the likely risks because he offered to "make it tighter" for my husband. (Mesh OFTEN shrinks) I still recall him looking past me and grinning at my husband. He DIDN'T find it funny. Neither did I! I told him it wasn't necessary. Now I'm facing a potential lifetime of possible fecal incontinence as well as the urinary incontinence I have now, could get even worse. I've already experienced the loss of family and friends, extreme financial hardships, loss of sexual intimacy because of erosion of mesh into the vagina. Bowel bleeding during a movement because of mesh erosion into the rectum. HORRIFIC DAILY PAIN, depression, as well as the deterioration of my health because of how limited I am and autoimmune problems. I hope whatever kickback he got was worth it. I hope he gets what he deserves. I would give him a negative 4 stars if I could.

This office has the most amazing staff!!! From my first phone call to schedule to checking in with the receptionist to being cared for by the nurses and doctors. They make me feel as if I was their mother, sister, aunt, or grandmother. They genuinely care.

Dr Leavitt is an amazing Doctor. After suffering a miscarriage with my first pregnancy I was very nervous when I found out I was expecting again. Their office took good care of me and calmed a lot of my fears by how attentive they were to my needs. They ended up delivering my daughter a week early because she had stopped growing inside me. I was thankful they caught that! When I became pregnant with my son it became a high risk pregnancy. Dr Leavitt was absolutely amazing! All through answering my millions of questions and working together with the high risk doctor to make sure my baby was safe. I delivered at 30 weeks via C-section. Dr Leavitt is an amazing surgeon and took great care of me through this process. I would recommend him to anyone!

This doctor used transvaginal mesh products and bladder sling products after knowing the FDA had sent out warnings the year prior. He destroyed my life for 9 years. I lost my marriage, my health and any possibility of a social life. He left me with years of pain and damage and kept using mesh in patient's despite other doctor's from another state contacting him asking him to stop harming women. I cannot say enough bad thing's about this man.

Dr. Leavitt came to my rescue when I had returned to the hospital hemorrhaging after a miscarriage and D&C and sent home. He was thorough with the surgery and treated my infection I didn't know I had and I recovered quickly and was able to go home. I was thankful for his expertise.

I have seen Dr. Leavitt since he started practicing and loved him. However recently I have had a problem with a bill and getting no help! He has done approximately 10 surgeries on me and I had a huge issue with my insurance company and am trying to get things resolved but his office is unwilling to do anything to help me. Very frusterated! Before this happened I would have recomended him to anyone but not any longer. I thought the thousands of dollars he got from me would be enough for him to be willing to make a deal with me but apparently they are so greedy and have so little compassion they wont. He has gotten far to busy and forgotten that this isn't about making money it is about helping people.

Dr. Leavitt is very kind and tries hard. However he is so busy that you will almost never see him, he forgets you and your symptoms almost every time you see him. With our first two children he was much better but with our last he just could not seem to keep up with the number of patients he sees. I saw his PA more then 80% of my visits, which don't get me wrong Scott is a great person but he is not my doctor. I should not have to pay full price to se a PA every time I come in. Dr. Leavitt will need to start focusing on patient retention soon I am sure. I have talked to others who are starting to notice what I am noticing. My best friend, who I recommended to Dr. Leavitt back in 2008, just called me yesterday saying that she has noticed a change in his staff and that they could care less about the Dr's. practice and that they just act like they are there to collect a pay check and that is all they care about. Sorry Dr. but I cant recommend you anymore unless things can go back to how… they were several years ago. xoxo : (
