Dr Glenn Rich, MD

I have been going to this Dr. for the last 10+ years. Lately, I am having the worst experience ever with his staff, in particular with Stephanie who is an absolute incompetent, lazy, rude, liar and completely un-willing to help. I am not sure why she has not been fired yet. The staff is rude, unwilling to help and give any excuse to not help. Worst practice I have seen in years. A total disaster. Dont waste your time here.

I have been going to Dr. Rich for over 20 years and found him to be the best. When my late husband became ill so many years ago we had just moved from New York and he was recommended by a doctor we knew. Not knowing us at all Dr Rich told us to come right over and immediately hospitalized him thereby saving his life.

HE was my doctor for 10 years,june of this year i tried to get a script filled vytoryn,,his staff failed me over and over,xpress scripts called dr rich office many times but no one would talk to the xpress script supervisor trying to fix cost problem,i tried and tried but was hung up on and said i was rude,,his nurse was the worst she stated xpress script never called and how would they now do they have xray vision ,now thats from the nurse that is the docs assistant,,finally i left the doc a voicemail saying he needs to get involved and get down from the ivory tower,,that was it i receaved a registerred letter stating they got rid of me as a patient,,do what you want,,this is what happen to me,i called but got no where,,

I STILL THINK ALL WILL END WELL,AGREE ON S MERCK,SHE IS AWFUL AND NEEDS POTTY TRAINNING,NASTY MOUTH TO GO ALONG WITH HER TOUGH PHONE ATTITUDE,,DR RICH NEEDS BETTER PEOPLE TO WORK FOR HIM,HE HAS BEEN THE BEST DOC I EVER HAD,IM 73 AND HATE TO LEAVE THERE,

Terrible bedside manner. With such poor people skills, I don't know why he decided to become a doctor

This is the worst run office I have ever encountered. I never get notified when they need me to make an appointment, or when they need me to get blood work done. The only way I ever find out, is if I call in periodically, (and even then, I have to go through a series of back and forth phone calls) or if I try to renew my prescription in the manner that they request, which is via pharmacy notification. I then have to call my pharmacy to see if it got renewed, and I just got the joy of finding out that they refused my request for my necessary daily medication (which I am out of) because they need me to come in! This is a truly crappy way to find out! After I have to wait to call back 2 hours, because apparently this is the amount of time they need for a lunch break, I try explaining this to the receptionist (Desiree) and she hangs up on me!!!!!!!! I call back and ask her if she just hung up on me, and she said "yes, because I didn't like the way you were talking to me." Are you… kidding me? How about the way I'm being treated! I am the patient, and this is your job. You are NOT professional!!!!!!! This office is such a joke. There is a reason the waiting room is empty. Do NOT go here if you want to be treated with any kind of compassion, dignity or respect!

She is unprofessional and should not work with such a nice doctor.

I have been a patient for approx. 8 yrs. I am diabetic and have thyroid issues. He was recommended by an RN that I am freinds with. She told me at the time that "the man has no personality,but he will get your numbers down". Absolutly accurate. In all that time I have never had a real conversation with him. He hardly asks any questions, give you a quick look, and out the door. Looking for another doctor. The office staff is OK although on the phone it can be difficult to get what you need. Finally, the woman PA is an absolute waste of time. She is supposed to help with your nutrition, had an appointment with her. My wife and I could not believe how unprofessional and rude she was. We decided to never see her again. In summery, you get in the door,get your RX and leave.Never have any sense that Dr. Rich has any real concern for you personally. Find another doctor

I am a "lifer." I have had diabetes for 35 years and have been both on and off pump therapy. I have thyroid disease, hypertension and high cholesterol. I had been a patient, until Dr. Rich abruptly dismissed me from his practice over insurance, of which I have Aetna as my primary and they pay 100%, (I've met my copay, for 6 to 7 years give or take.) My concerns are this. *His staff is rude. *His nurse, Stephani, was informed by me of a condition that i was going through, that actually landed me in the hospital two days later yet she never told the doctor. *When you have appointments, unless you are very instent and demanding, you are brushed off and he seems bored and "clock watching." * I was once changed off from one pump regimine of diabetes treatment without even being told how to correct for high or low blood sugars - my appointment was on a Friday. Thankfully, I am a diabetic with a past of logbooks and a brain. He had no clue what my needs were to help in the… transition, he seemed in a fog. I felt I was the doctor that day and walked out of the office cell phone in hand calling my husband wondering if perhaps maybe I did need a new doc... maybe that was an omen? *Average apt. time is once in office 12 minutes. *Always an upper exam for some reason with a full removal of all garments. Maybe its nevessary, its just creepy. * in the transaction, a phone call, today where i was simply called saying the doctor wouldn't be seeing me as a patient anymore the caller was not polite. She could not explain the situation. They are a mess. I have, essentially, replaced them. I just want to warn others not to get trapped. Please don't waste your time, nor yor efforts. There are brighter, better, more advanced doctors that care. Dr. Rich would not even return my phone call. He does not care.
