Dr. Glenn Richard Saltz, MD

I was a patient many years ago, and this man is indelibly seared into my memory. I specifically remember him insisting on a pelvic exam at about age 14, and I was NOT ready for that. Put me on the pill, which was the only thing he did right. Then insisted I speak (against my will) in front of my mother, who was the source of much of my unhappiness, considering she had psychiatric issues and eating disorders. He Insisted on continuing to treat me for things I kept telling him I wasn’t suffering from. We eventually left his care, Thank GOD, but I will never forget the damage this man did to me. I’m still trying to heal with my own strength, (in my 40’s) which he did everything he could to diminish. I learned a couple of valuable lessons from him... 1. Listen to your child when they say a doctor makes them uncomfortable, and 2. I have almost all female doctors since him... always female when there are options. The memories of my appointments with him will creep me out for the rest of my… life

Saltz required far too many meeting with the parents and rarely met with the child for medication checks. He was clearly trying to milk the parents for as much money as possible. Stay clear of him.

We are the parents of a teenage girl going through very hard years. Dr. Saltz became a trusted member of our family and really helped her a lot.
