Excellent Care!

This man is an angel on earth. You may think this is an exaggeration, but anyone who’s had work done by him knows, this is no stretch. He performed my last root canal and it was the most pleasant experience ever- he’s so thorough and knowledgeable. He is gentle and accurate. He knows what he’s doing and I would trust him with my friends and family. Last night I had intense pain from an abscess tooth. He gave full instructions on pain management for the night and is working me in first thing this am. Who does that? An angel. That’s who. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dental work. I mean it when I say, he is literally the best of the best.

Our experience with Dr Trautmann was wonderful. Beverley,his office manager, was professional, sweet and kind!!!!! My knowledge and understanding of a root canal were highlighted by the explanation Dr TRAUTMANN gave my husband and I. He was thorough and detailed with his treatment. His chair side manners were outstanding and he listened to all my concerns after the treatment. He explained the before and after radiographs and I was able to visualize what does a root canal treatment achieve. His follow up call reassured me that we made the right choice going to Stonebridge Endodontics for my root canal treatment. I have unfortunately had more than one root canal, so it's not my first rodeo. My regular dentist (whom I love) referred me to Dr. Trautmann. I was able to set up the appointment fairly easily. Once I got there, thinking I was going to have a root canal done, he proceeded to use an entire hour to tell me what was going to happen during the procedure, which was to be scheduled in another appointment. He told me that he would need 3 to 4 hours, and that he strongly recommended I do the full sedation because if I did not, I would be in excruciating pain. Then he proceeded to tell me that he was not able to do it that week, because he had to go to his son's ballgame and that he would choose his son over his patients every time, since he considers himself to be a "papa bear" (his words). Though I totally agree that family comes first, the last thing I want is for a doctor or dentist to sit there and explain how unimportant my pain is, and that he doesn't really care how much discomfort… I'm in, as long as he can go to a game. I just think it is REALLY BAD chairside manners to do that. I opted not to go back. Instead, I went to Dr. Jacob D. Cragun. He is the most wonderful endodontist you'll ever meet. I scheduled an appointment and he took care of my tooth in less than 45 minutes, with just regular local anesthetic, not general sedation. I felt no pain whatsoever and walked out of there a very happy camper!

Without a doubt, Dr. TRAUTMANN and Beverly are a wonderful team. My experience couldn't have been better.

My son was a patient. The doctor took a long time explaining a very complicated diagnosis, so that we could understand.
