He wrote off my symptoms. I contacted him multiple times after my visit and he never responded. I got better gynecological care and help for my problem at an urgent care center.

After my last mediocre birth experience with a large practice where I didn't see the same doctor twice I was looking for something better suited to me and I found it with doctors Weisenfeld and Updike both were personable, knowledgable, and patient. I saw Kim berkhoudt a very capable and caring nurse practitioner for most of my visits and then was switched to the doctors as the big day approached this seems to allow for an efficient use of the doctors time while giving the patient personal care and care is the word, I cannot say enough about dr. Updike who ultimately delivered my daughter , he gave me a wonderful & informed birth experience.

Dr. Updike treated me for HSIL cervical abnormalities. Throughout the process, he always kept me thoroughly informed. Although it was a nerve-wracking experience, his clear and calm demeanor really made me feel better. He was honest, precautionary, and considerate. Now that I have moved to another city and am facing a reoccurance of abnormalities, I wish I could go back to him! I haven't found a GYN I've trusted since I left.

I had my first child with Dr. Updike. The whole team is very supportive of the mother and partner and they really take their time to answer questions and explain things. I have never felt rushed. They are also very supportive of vaginal birth and breastfeeding. Unfortunately my first pregnancy ended up in a non elective, scheduled C-section. I had complete placenta previa, and I was hospitalized three times. Dr. Updike took great care of us during those hospitalizations and did a great job during my C-section and recovery. I am currently pregnant with my second child and I am happy to be back in the care of such a great team. I highly recommend them!

I had attended this practice believing that Dr. Weisenfeld would be the best OB for our family. After seeing his partner several times, however, I was overwhelmingly impressed. Dr. Updike is everything you want in a doctor--well-read, intelligent, curious, careful, caring, compassionate, and an efficient and wise manager of his time. I was extremely pleased when it turned out that he would be delivering our baby. Can't recommend him enough.

Dr. Updike was my surgeon when some things went wrong early in my pregnancy. His manner was very gentle and caring with a dose of humor that I kept him throughout my pregnancy. My planned cesaran was like a party, he had me very relaxed and laughing. He's very busy on standard yearly appointments but I will wait to see him or his staff.

I ask him questions about pains i have and all he ever says is i dont know. I can't stand him.

He is very professional. One of the best doctors I've ever delt with. He is very kind and has wonderful beside manner. During my delivery my mom commented on how nice and peaceful he was and how caring when I was screaming. Ha Ha! Truly a great doctor.

He is very professional and knowledgeable. I went through 7 doctors before I found him. He's difficult to get an appointment with because he's very in demand but well worth the wait, especially if you have vulvar pain. I go to him despite the traffic, parking and abysmal receptionists at Magee.
