took 7yr.old son with Down Syndrome to see her she did not speak to him at all looked at him gave me some prescriptions and said come back in three months her bedside manner is horrible!!! Can we say retirement!!!

I visited Dr. Trockman in reference to my lips suddenly darkening. I was told by the nurse to put on a gown because she would conduct a full check up because I was a new patient. She came in and looked at my lips and instantly ruled out bacteria causing the issue. I was using Eos Lip balm and she suggested I stopped using those and that was her only suggestion. She was not interested in what I had to say and was very short with me when I asked questions. Dr. Trockman did no further examinations and I never had any follow-up. This office visit cost me $130.00 to be told maybe I should discontinue the use of my current lip balm. I have pretty bad acne which I thought would be addressed but she was not interested in that matter. If you want a thorough and patient friendly doctor, Dr. Trockman is not the doctor for you.

I took my disabled son to see Dr. Trockman for a reddish bump on his leg. She barely looked at it and said it was "probably" an insect bite. she seemed totally uninterested in doing any further examination or answering any questions we had. She charged 450.00 for that visit. 3 months later...the "insect bite" is still there. What a joke.

I saw Dr. Trockman in the dermatology dept at University Hospital. I was very disappointed with the time she spent with me and lack of thoroughness, She barely looked at the rash I had and used no magnifying glass nor extra lighting to examine the area. She seemed totally disinterested in my case. I left with no diagnosis but only a prescription being called into my pharmacy. When looking up her credentials after returning home I found she has been sanctioned and am very disappointed in IU Health for employing a doctor of such low caliber. I have always been very happy with the quality of doctors at IU Health and am surprised that they would find a doctor of this caliber acceptable.

I'm not sure I always believe the Title to be true, but in this case it was. We were referred from a rheumatologist in the morning to see the dermatologist in the afternoon. This doctor was horrible and I am very disappointed in the IU Med School for keeping such faculty. She seemed to think my wife was malingering (making stuff up), did not listen to what we had to say, gave no patient education, and come to find out she has a history of malpractice and noncompliance with her probation. Sure it is not uncommon to get a malpractice suit in 30 years of practice, but I can now see why she has. She claimed to not see a red spot the 2 interns in the room saw as well as my wife felt pain at which she said, "One person's pain is another's itching." Today, just the day after, that spot is very pronounced and there is not way she could miss it now. As a fellow medical practitioner, I have never been so disappointed in the IU medical teaching faculty. She is a waste of your's/your… insurance's money.

The doctors staff openly made fun of an elderly lady who was confused. This reflects the attitude of all the staff here. Don't go!
