Dr. Gloria Esperanza Galdamez, MD

I was in the beginning stages of a painful and degenerative bone disease and not only did she miss the diagnosis, she refused to both treat the pain or refer me to a pain specialist. Every doctor I have seen has been disgusted by the neglect, as the pain from this disease is second only to bone cancer pain. I was treated like a drug seeker, ignored, and mistreated. Her refusal to see me because she was too arrogant to believe I was actually sick then delayed my diagnosis and treatment by months, resulting in both total hip replacements at 26. Gross neglect.

Didn’t see the doctor on my first visit / consultation. Nurse practitioner Loraine Raymond. She said that she does the annual exam. Refused for me to see doctor unless medically necessary. I didn’t like that at all. Had all my annual exams done at age 55, pap normal, blood work normal and colonoscopy clean as a whistle. After all my exams the nurse prescribed a statin medication without a consultation. The prescription was called into my pharmacy. I didn’t like his one bit. Didn’t believe I needed to be on any medication. You think you would see a doctor before writing a prescription. They wouldn’t write me a yearly prescription on a medication I’ve been taken for 10 years which can only be filled every three months. I felt that they were only interested in getting money from my insurance than being concerned about my overall health. I’ve never had a doctor who I’ve never seen nor consulted on treat me this was. I would advise people to stat away from an office who treat people this… way. If you request to see a doctor they should honor it rather than put you on medication or get you to commit to office visited. I decided to take my health to a doctor who I can talk face to face to about any health concern I may health given that I am a healthy person. Meds for OCD.

Had to wait an hour and a half to be seen. When we were finally seen, I complained about the wait time, and Dr. Galdamez said she was tired, her feet were bothering her and it was annoying to her too. No explanation for why it was taking so long. I assume they book their appointments too close together.

My wife and I both went to her. I went to her when my regular doctor was not available. She prescribed a blood pressure medicine my regular doctor later said was no longer recommended. She also recommended over the counter pills that my regular doctor said did not really help with HBP. She did not pay proper attention to my wife's rash and was immature in her manner of treating her--my wife refused to return. I have seen other ratings that tell me we were correct. My wife went to a different doctor for the rash.

Sometime adequate time was spent but it feels like you're talking to a brick wall. Thorough doctor but way too many follow up visits were needed and I feel like too many unnecessary tests

I was a patient of Dr. Galdamez for over a year. In every appt I was underwhelmed. I had 6 visits in a year, each time she acted like she had no clue who I was. I was prescribed dangerous medicine for a pregnant and later nursing mother, and I had to call and ask her reasoning. Incidentally, it was a lack of concern about who I was. I am currently looking for a new dr.
