Dr. Gloria Rosario Paoli, MD

Went to Dr. Paolo for a routine eye check up today and in general, found her manner and methods highly unprofessional and her office poorly run. To begin, my wait time was unbelievably long. I arrived on time, for my 1pm appointment and did not see the doctor until 3:30! Also, the doctor, instead of restricting herself to her so-called area of experitise, seemed to fancy herself a self help coach too and after I mentioned that my mom (who had briefly been a patient of hers many years ago) had passed, proceeded to dole out unsolicited advice on the grieving process in often offensive and insensitive terms. Moreover, after learning my mother had switched to another neighborhood eye doctor in her final years, the doctor made the crude remark that my mother had "cuckolded" her. What's more, her medical methods were just as crude as her behavior, unfortunately., because she submitted me to a highly uncomfortable examination of my inner eye that turned my eye nearly inside out-- one that… I suspect to be extremely outdated, as no ophthalmologist I have seen previously has ever subjected me to such an ordeal. In a nutshell, when describing my experience with Dr. Paolo today, I would say the level of care and professionalism were dismal, and the appointment was a nightmare! Despite the fact that her office is a convenient 5 minutes away from my home, I will never return to her and would rather travel hours on a New York city subway to see a better qualified, more respectful eye specialist than Dr. Paoli. ,

Dr.Paoli is A Rude Mean Witch! Change W to a B !!! Her demeanor is discussing she is very unprofessional and I swear if she could of had the chance to poke my eye balls & get away with it she probably would I'm sure after this experience she is CERTIFIABLE !! She is too Agressive and I Won't Ever Recommend her Also she was coughing and didn't have the courtesy to cover her mouth!

This was a negative experience, this doctor didn't write my prescription for my new glasses and to get afterwards I have to paid as a new visit. This is really bad.

This place is terrible. The waiting time is insane!!! My grandmother as with many elderly people had been waiting for more than 3 hours to be seen by the doctor and more than one hour to at least be seen by the medical assistant. They have no care for their patients whether elderly or not and they abuse of the kindness of the patient. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Found her to be an excellent doctor that really took her time with my exams and answered all my questions patiently even though she had a waiting room full of people.
