Dr. Gloria Richard-Davis, MD, MSCP, FACOG

After years of trying and seeing other specialist, I am finally pregnant after my second treatment cycle. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Richard-Davis and her office staff. They are professional and compassionate.

I saw Dr Richard-Davis after seeing other fertility specialists. She was caring and compassionate. She reviewed pages of records summarized and quickly came up with a plan. It was by far the best experience I have had. I highly recommend her for fertility services.

Initially the experience was okay until Dr. Richard-Davis came into the room. She was rude and kept looking me up and down. I was waiting for her to say some and when she did she asked me do I work out. She began going on about my weight and the residency stopped her. I felt she was rude. Also because I was at the appointment by myself she asked why I did not put any information down about my significant other I stated because no one asked for his information. My fiancé went in for a semen analysis and afterward I called and asked do we both need to be there for the results and the nurse was very rude. We were thinking he’ll we never been through this before so how would we know. I think they assume we should know the answers already. The staff was rude and she was not personable at all. The only reason we moved for with the semen analysis is because she stated after I took all of my test that I would not get the results unless he was checked. We know he does not have a problem because… he have kids. We go in for our follow up soon. We will go for the results and hopefully we won’t need Invitro. If so we will be going to another doctor because the whole office is unprofessional and rude.

I got my appt 4 months ago. I asked if they wanted my records from previous clinics. I was told no. That they would start new. I called a couple different times. Got same answer from different people. Never received new patient paperwork. 2 business days before my appt I received a call stating they hadn't got my paperwork or records. I'm then told it's my fault. I didn't mail it back. I even supposedly got a call 2 days prior on both phones but do not show either call and was told I don't have voice mail on either phone which I do. I asked if it was a possibility they misdialed. No they don't make mistakes. Obviously the clinical workers need etiquette classes because they don't know how to treat people. This journey is hard enough without clinics not doing their job. They truly suck!

I researched fertility services in the area. My doctor had referred me to a different clinic. After looking at exceptional reviews, I chose Dr. Richard-Davis. Our first visit, the staff made us feel welcomed and they were understanding of how stressful it is dealing infertility. She and her staff were thorough and I felt relieved and happy to start my journey. I would recommend her. My only issue was the wait time before the appointment. I waited 2 months for the new appointment and about 30 min before being seen. However, it was worth the wait.

We saw Dr. Richard-Davis for a second opinion. I had seen another fertility specialist. She reviewed my stack of records & thoroughly went thorough them with us. It was the first time we understood what had been done & why. She outlined a treatment plan. We had all but given up hope, but was willing to try one more time. Thank goodness we did. We now have a beautiful baby girl.

Easily the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. I arrived at my appointment on time. There was only 1 other person in the waiting room (who had an appointment scheduled for the same time as me). I had to wait almost an hour before I was called back for my appointment despite the fact that the office was completely dead. I spent more time in the business office (making sure I could pay) than I did with the doctor. When I finally saw the doctor, she seemed nice enough but not particularly interested with hearing about my situation. I finished the appointment and went to another office for some blood work. I was told to call the office back when I started my period to schedule additional blood work and an HSG. When I started my period, I followed the nurse's instructions and came in for additional blood work and asked for an HSG to be scheduled the next Monday. When I called back a few days later to clarify what time I need to show up at UAMS for my HSG,… the nurse said she "forgot" to schedule mine and I would have to wait until my next period because Dr. Richard-Davis only did 2 HSG's per week and those slots were already filled. Needless to say, I was very upset because my husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 2 years now and, with my irregular periods, this could result in a delay of several months. So, I called around and found a different hospital to schedule the procedure on my own. The hospital was shocked that Dr. Richard-Davis only did 2 of these procedures a week. I set up an appointment and called Dr. Richard-Davis' nurse to ask her to fax over an approval for the procedure to the other hospital. The nurse never followed up with me. So, on the day of the procedure, I stopped by the office in-person to make sure the paperwork had been faxed over. I was treated in the most rude manner I have ever been treated in my life. The nurse said she hadn't faxed over the paperwork and that Dr. Richard-Davis would not approve of the procedure being done anywhere besides UAMS. The nurse actually started laughing at me and thought the situation was funny. I'm sorry, but for a woman struggling with infertility to be treated like this at a fertility clinic is unacceptable. The nurse said that Dr. Richard-Davis was "busy" (even though the office was completely empty) and that I wasn't her only patient so I shouldn't expect her to have time to fax over an approval. I ended up showing up for my HSG anyway but the hospital couldn't perform it without an approval from Dr. Richard-Davis. The hospital attempted to call her office several times but was told that Dr. Richard-Davis flat-out refused to authorize the procedure that she told me I had to have before I could be placed on fertility medication. Even the staff at the hospital was shocked by the rudeness of Dr. Richard-Davis' staff. Luckily, the hospital referred me to a different fertility doctor and I am much happier now. My experience with Dr. Richard-Davis was nothing but a complete waste of time and money. Her staff is the rudest group of individuals I have ever dealt with and I'm shocked that a supposed medical professional would have people like this working for her. I can't help but notice that all of the positive reviews for this doctor are very old and the pictures on the walls of her office with "happy" patients all look to be at least 10-15 years old. I don't know if Dr. Richard-Davis used to be a good doctor and just gave up or what. But, something is seriously wrong with the people she has working for her. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

I arrived early to complete paperwork that was supposed to have been mailed to me, but it was not. They charged me a $65 copay when it was supposed to only be $40. I explained this to them, but they would not accept it or contact my insurance to verify. I completed the paperwork before my appointment time, but we still sat there for over 45 minutes past the appointment time. The appointment itself went okay. Then we met with the Financial Counselor. The first thing she told me was I over paid when it came to the copay. I explained that I was aware of that and tried to explain that, but they made me pay it anyways. They did not once offer to refund that money, but told me I could apply it to the next office visit. I was told to start an RX immediately, but even 10 days post-appointment, it had not been called in. I left a voicemail for the nurse and she had not returned my call by 24 hours later, so I stopped by the office (my husband had an appointment to drop off a sperm sample). I… was told the nurse had my message and would give me a call back. I no more than got into my car and drove out of the parking lot and the nurse called me back. (But she was too busy to see me or speak with my 5-10 minutes before) The nurse was extremely rude and wanted to argue. Her excuse for the RX not being called in was that they "get busy with clinicals" and "sometimes the doctor forgets". I explained to the nurse that was unacceptable as my insurance and I are paying her to do her job which does entail actually prescribing the RXs she wants her patients to take. The nurse finally said she'd get it called in and hung up on me. The next day she called it it. I will NEVER go back to this doctor. I am still fighting with their billing company to get my $25 back. And I was recently told I wouldn't get the blood work results because I wasn't going to schedule a follow up appointment. I would not recommend this doctor or clinic to my worst enemy.

Her Nurse do not return calls...They don't call and do follow ups after any kind of testing.The Dr. Herself do not seem to really care about her patient. My husband told me we would never go back there.Asked to be referred to another doctor. Very disappointed ant a waste of my time all these months.

Absolutely will not be going back because of her nurse.
