Dr. Celis took an extraordinary amount of time. His exam and health care review was very comprehensive and complete.

***WILL be switching doctors!*** I went in with my Mother-in-law to see what is going on with her Doctor, also as an advocate. My mother-in-law is almost 80 years old mind you. Definitely around the time of needing a witness at her appointments to make sure she is getting the proper care and referrals she needs. My main concern was that she had a bad fall in the shower before her last appointment a few months ago, she did tell the Doctor and he never sent her for an X-ray of her neck and she also hit her head. She also has been swollen retaining water and having flank pain and feeling like her fluids are not fully going through her body, which can also be caused from an unjust to the body. So as I’m addressing the concerns, his arrogance gets the best of him and besides not letting her or I even address concerns and brushing everything off to high blood pressure and her needing to loose weight. Which she is only 4’11 in height and 144, which she’s gained weight since feeling swollen.… Which he didn’t want to hear anything about. So she is not obese by any means. I will further the rest of this letter in an direct letter as to everything that went on during this appointment to the office and anyone else I need to. I agree with previous posted review about out “Very BAD bedside manner”

He will ignore you, pharmacies, hospitals, and other doctors. He seems incapable of getting the correct information in his files, and doesn't bother to ask questions or provide medical care. He will gladly make you suffer crippling pain every single month for one to two weeks at a time, because he doesn't seem to think having broken bones in your spine is a big deal. Of course, that's assuming he really even knows what is going on, because he ignores you, pharmacies, hospitals, and other doctors, and seems incapable of recording anything correctly in his files. He should have his medical license revoked.

I am a healthcare professional myself and I can accurately state Dr. Celis exhibits poor form and professionalism. He definitely did not listen to me as a patient and more often than not I was subject to his decisions. He requested that I see him 4-6 times per year if I wanted him to fill prescriptions as a healthy patient in his 30's with no major or chronic issues. I could not help but ask if this request was financially driven. Our last interaction was one where he essentially accused me of abusing medications without any substantial reasoning. In my opinion, he made ignorant statements. He was referring to a single controlled medication (I am on no other medications) he prescribed to me of which a 30 day supply lasted me 90-120 days. This is the same medication in which he cut the dose in half from my original prescription with no challenges from me. This does not even remotely touch on drug abuse. I reminded him of these facts and he agreed, yet he proceeded to lecture me on… drug abuse. The last straw is after he stepped out and without requesting or discussing it with me, he sent his MA in stating that Dr. Celis wanted a urine drug screen. I gladly provided the urine sample and decided this is not a physician I would be seeing again. I will share that I was upset and wanted to ask him why he did not have the courage to inform me of his request during our discussions. I also decided that I would share my experience, because he is everything a physician should not be and potential patients need to know that. I can confidently say this with 20+ years of experience in healthcare and most of those in leadership.
