Dr. Gopal Rao Guttikonda, MD

I was referred to Dr. Guttikonda for pain radiating from my neck to my arm. He diagnosed me with carpal tunnel and told me I wasn't feeling the strange sensation moving down but up. Needless to say I wake up one morning and couldn't move my head. I had to support it with both hands just to get to the bathroom without passing out. I ended up having to have a spondylectomy putting me out of commission for 3 months. If you're seeing him and he's not listening to you request a new neurologist.

This Dr barely touched me in his "exam", especially when testing for loss of strength. He even admited to not being a very compassionate person. I was so frustrated with how he barely listened to what I said, he heard "headache" and immediately went with that diagnosis. I asked for a different dr and HAD TO ASK for tests to be performed. Admitted to having a private practice prior to VA hospital. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would leave a private practice to work at VA, unless they had malpractice suits...
