I had a terrible experience. I was basically refused care when I was experiencing very scary symptoms related to my epilepsy. It took 4 months to get an appointment, and I was already a patient. The treatment was to max out on a medication that wasn’t working and causing terrible side effects, while still never seeing me. Epilepsy is complicated, but the lack of treatment, and care was shameful.

Dr. Umashankar evaluated me after a major accident that caused me to have chronic pain in my right arm. Unfortunately the accident had caused enough damage to create persistent symptoms but Dr. U was caring, informative, and practical when it came to discussing my day to day pain levels, options for helping this situation, and a thorough discussion of further diagnostics and therapies that might assist in forming a healthier outcome down the road.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Office is hard to get ahold of, he doesn’t follow through on anything he says he will, and when requesting medical record to change doctors, he left a lot of information out, no notes or treatment summary, etc. You would be better off without a doctor.

Seek help elsewhere. He is terrible to get ahold of, doesn't follow through, just a horrible experience after several visits.
