Terrible provider. From the reviews you can see she has been a terrible provider for many years. She is rude and incompetent. Find another provider at another hospital. Medicine isnt the right field for her.

I left one star only to write this review. I walked out on this doctor because she reamed me out during a visit and said I was simply lazy. I won't go back because of her. Went to Brigham and Women's Hospital and was diagnosed with inflammatory myopathy. Which they said I'll never fully recover from because due to lack of care.

If you need ongoing care and suffer pain, Dr Burke isn't a good choice. She doesn't care, doesn't listen, and doesn't give a good faith effort to help. She just can't be bothered.

She came into the room and asked me what she could do for me. I requested medication that in the past via another doctor prevented my migraines. She proceeded to go up one side and down the other of me for wasting HER time. Well your office screws up, put me on with a doctor that doesn't want to prescribe medicine. She then spent an hour with me. I left with the advice to use peppermint oil. Well it does help but it's hardly a functional cure all...if as a DO you won't prescribe, then you should be clear on your web site and your staff should be clear. None the less, an unacceptable non professional attitude had been posted by multiple others, prompting me to post. Even good doctor don't have that many bad days

Dr Burke used to practice in Maine, where she was my mothers neuro. Under her care my mother had a serious medical issue that could have easily been prevented had Dr. Burke followed up with test results (that were completed but she neglected to read) Unfortunately the damage was done. Dr. Burke then left that practice abruptly with no letters or explanations to her patients. Just left. One can only surmise she may have been asked to leave...as to the first poster-I am not disgruntled nor have I ever posted another negative review. My mother now has a terrific neuro that cares about his patients.

I find the other reviews listed here to be just the opposite of what I experienced. Dr Burke spent over an hour with me. She drew diagrams of my stroke and was very caring and extremely knowledgable. I saw her several times in the office in follow-up and am sad that she has decided to practice elsewhere. I am willing to bet that the other disgruntled patients would have a bone to pick with anyone. Dr Burke is definately missed.

My brother has been in Glens Falls Hospital for a week and has brain damage. I have requested 3 times for Dr. Burke to contact me and she has also been paged twice while I was visiting. She advised the staff both times she would contact me. To this date I have never been contacted by Dr. Burke or anyone in her office regarding my brothers condition. She is dispicable. Classless and unprofessional and I strongly urge anyone who has a choice to seek another Dr. I wonder how she would deal with someone like her if one of her loved ones received such treatment.

In hurry, doesn't listen, doesn't follow up, doesn't call back, allows patient to suffer with head pain and could care less. Waist of time.
