I think Dr. Byrnes is an outstanding doctor. He takes the time to explain what he is doing as well as what he notices during the exam. Dr. Byrnes addressed my questions and assisted with providing information i needed. Very personable.

Appreciate very much Dr Byrnes being the kind of doctor that you feel comfortable enough to talk to and know he's listening and directs you to resources you may need outside of his realm of practice. Highly recommend any doctor who listens to their patients and makes them feel heard. Dr. Byrnes is that doctor. If this is the kind of doctor you're looking for Call him! :)

Dr Gordon Byrnes the BEST ophthalmologist in Great Washington area at Retna Group of Washington at Alexandria office. His professionalism, experience and compaction above five stars. He never rushes, does excellent diagnostic. and advices treatment or solution that will always solve the problem. I am HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR GORDON BYRNES for all complications with the retna, cornia, etc.

I have been under Dr. Byrnes's care for over 3 years now. He's a lifesaver, great bedside manner, very knowledgeable, kind and caring. I'm confident that I'm getting the best and most up to date treatment in his care. Lucky to have him as my Retina specialist

I just had needle injections..Dr Byrne's was so careful so gentle..He listens and gives the best options for your needs..I definitely recommend him
