Summary
Dr. Gordon Duval returned to his native state of Utah to serve as pediatrician to the children of Nephi and surrounding areas. He acquired his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University where he studied Nutritional Science and performed on the Ballroom Dance Company. For several years he served as a part of BYU Emergency Medical Services. He was instrumental in the creation of the BYU Crisis Program to address the needs of abused and neglected children – now divided into 2 programs: Hope and Healing.
He completed medical school in Pennsylvania at LECOM and then specialized in Pediatrics at the University of Missouri. With passion he applies the art and science of healing to help infants, children, and adolescents during times of injury and illness. Partnering with parents, he strives to achieve optimal happiness and well-being of all children.
Gordon is married to Leona, and they have welcomed four children into the world. Personal hobbies include swimming, skiing, hiking, …camping, and ballroom dance.
