Dr. Gordon H Hsieh, DO

I requested my son see Dr. Hsieh and instead he was seen by a NP who had to continually step out of the room and consult with Dr. Hsieh. Then the NP says my son need an MRI and physical therapy. I inadvertently missed the MRI appointment and good thing I did because when I called Dr. Hsieh office, the NP said it was mistake and my son did not need an MRI. That mistake would have costed me over $500 after insurance. My mother said Dr. Hsieh practice felt like it was ran like a medical mill, "...all the NP's treating patients as they step out and consult Dr. Hsieh." So don't think when you're booking an appointment with Dr. Hsieh that you are actually going to be seen by him - nope! Also they made me write a letter to have my mother bring my son to his appointment - RIDICULOUS! My mother almost always takes my children to their medical appointments because of my work hours and I have never had to write a letter. When I called the front staff to ask questions, basic questions, they… couldn't answer them. I wouldn't take my son back to this clinic. What a waste of time and money!

Dr. Hsieh operated on my shoulder, repairing a torn rotator cuff. After the surgery, I took just one pain pill once the nerve block wore off then due to my phobia of getting addicted to pain killers, I decided to quit taking them. I did not experience any subsequent pain beyond the stretching of my skin due to the very tight stitches, which my primary care physician attributed to Hsieh's work as much as my own tolerance of pain. He's a very friendly person that does a good job of explaining medical conditions in terms that a layman can understand.

Exceptional doctor and staff

An amazing surgeon who fit me right into is schedule. He came in on his day off to operate and didn't even tell me he was doing me a special service. Offered me his home phone number. Was able to take an alternate tendons to repair my shredded Achilles. Am now able to hike and run.
