Summary
Dr. Keith Mackenzie has been practicing rehabilitation for 30 years in Spokane. His wealth of experience and his strong interest in orthopedics, arthritis and neurology have allowed him to help many people with joint replacements, strokes, spinal cord injuries and arthritis regain functional lives and their independence. Dr. Mackenzie received his medical education at the University of Washington. He completed a Family Medicine Residency before completing his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at the University of Washington. He is currently a faculty member at the University of Washington and teaches fourth year medical students. Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Mackenzie is a published author. He also enjoys having his patients tell him about their lives. "My grandmother lived with us when I was growing up and she taught me that everyone has an interesting story to tell about themselves." He feels this is one of the most …interesting parts of his practice. Outside his office, he is active in community projects and helps friends with technology problems. He enjoys the outdoors and likes to kayak and work in the garden.
