In 2000, Dr Acharya was a life saver for me. No doctor was willing to repair my abdomen muscles that were ripped apart because a hospital sent me home with a appendicitis that ended up where I had gangrene and peritonitis and looked 9 months pregnant in 24 hrs. The damage was severe. He worked with my urogyn to put me back together so I would have the muscles to support my back. I went in hospital not walking and walked out ! He has a heart of gold, excellent bedside manners which isn't often seen.

He is a rare doctor that can address extremely complicated situations.....he is also very honest about what can and cant be done and wont do something if he is doubtful of its outcome......I cannot say enough good things about him

Good surgeon he corrected a botched breast reconstruction that was done by a different doctor. He helped me by fixing the problem & concealing my scars. I've had a lot of compliments from other doctors.

My husband went to Dr Acharya for removal of a melanoma. The Dr was fabulous, demonstrated caring and concern both during office visits & at the hospital before, during & after surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone & would seek him out if I should ever need plastic, or other surgery!
