Dr. Graham Sellers is a board certified Colon & Rectal Surgeon and a Fellowship member of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. He is an expert in all surgical aspects of colorectal disease, including colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, colostomy, common and complex proctology. He is also a member of the Katz Institute for Women's Health specializing in pelvic health. Dr. Sellers received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, and his Medical Degree from The Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. In 1998 Dr. Sellers concluded his advanced colorectal surgical fellowship training at The Colon & Rectal Clinic of Orlando. Dr. Sellers has a central focus on management of colon & rectal cancer, with the goal of cancer cure and avoidance of permanent colostomy. Surgical management includes the use of minimally invasive robotic surgery which often affords a smaller wound incision, less post-operative pain, shorter hospital stay, and a quicker return to normal activities. He provides expert surgical management of diverticulitis, including the complications of diverticular abscess, and diverticular fistula communication to the bladder or vagina. He offers the opportunity for cure of ulcerative colitis with preservation of the anal sphincter and avoidance of permanent ileostomy through use of minimally invasive J-pouch surgery. Dr. Sellers specializes in the management of all aspects of anorectal disease and proctology. As a proctologist he offers the complete range of treatments, managing the majority of hemorrhoid problems in the office-setting using painless, nonsurgical options. Surgical options include a focus on minimizing post-operative pain.
