Dr. Graig William Smith, MD

After years of dealing with severe bleeding i came to dr smith begging to figure out what was wrong with me, or something other than birth control to stop this. he told me i had done too much research. and that there was no helping me. i met with another dr on the team who prescribed me the non birth conrol medication that saved my life and allows me to work and function on my period again. dr craig felt like a joke during my appt with him but even more so after immediately being offered what saved my quality life at the next appt with the next de.

I was a patient of Dr Smith for 22 years. Dr Hopped delivered my 22 year old son. Dr Strand delivered my 14 year old. Dr Smith was my doctor after my children were born. I had several severe bleeding issues. One was after a D and C when I was told I would not have a period for 6 weeks. Five days later I was bleeding terribly. I was put on 2 birth control pills a day. Then came the day that Dr Smith encouraged me to have a uterine ablation. I woke up in Christ Hospital in a puddle of blood. He dismissed me as being a " worrier" I bled for ONE YEAR AFTER THE ABLATION. I asked to be out back on the pill and he refused. Last year my daughter was diagnosed with Von Willebrands disease. I was tested as well by Dr Ralph Gruppo at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. Dr Gruppo is a hematologist. I was diagnosed with type 2A. Dr Smith dropped the ball on me. After all the bleeding episodes not ONCE did he ever suggest blood work. He will not speak to me on the phone and he refuses to see me. He… also deletes every review I post.

Not only did the visit go flawlessly, but Dr Smith called us, on his own volition, on a Monday to tell us he was "thinking about our situation over the weekend" and had a suggestion for us that may help diagnose our condition. I've never experienced that level of care and proactivity from a Doctor, especially in today's day and age. He truly cares about what he does and it shows... big time.

I have been going to Dr. Smith since he started his practice and I feel he is always so professional and knowledgeable. He is an very caring doctor who I would recommend to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Smith for nearly 10 years now. He is the most professional yet caring physician I've ever known. Always smiling and always pleasant! And Eartha is the best -- can't be in a bad mood with her around!
