Dr. Grant Barrie Neifeld, MD

I find it hard to believe he had a condescending tone, he is very sweet and he listened to everything I had to say and finally offered great solutions for my tailbone pain which started from a slip and off years ago. I also was diagnosed with arthritis of my knew and he gave me a cane and I felt very property diagnosed he is awesome doctor and I felt taken care of. It is so hard to believe the 1 start reviews.

I used Dr. Neifeld on several occasions when I was covered with Kaiser. He was still getting comfortable with typing up the results of our appts, but overall I found him to be excellent. I do not wait patiently well, and they had me in and out quickly, but not where I felt rushed. I am in excellent physical health, but even so, Dr. Neifeld took time with me to explain some things about my physiology that no one else had explained. I found that helpful and interesting. i would go back to him in an instant if and when I am covered by Kaiser again. Excellent doctor. He is also fit and practices what he preaches.

Like the last reviewer I thought he was dismissive of how I was feeling and my medical history. As a doctor he has the right to disagree with me but he could still hear me out.

Dr. Neifeld's been my doctor at kaiser for four or five years. Whoever gave him one star's probably just mad that he didn't give them some unnecessary medication. Either way, I find him wonderful. He does cover a lot of ground when he's with you, but that's because he really seems to care about your health, not just whatever issue you made the appointment for. I think he's the best and never wait more than a couple minutes and he always spends however much time is needed. I only wrote this review because I got mad seeing someone put "1 star down". Ridiculous.

I saw Dr. Neifeld one year and a half ago for chronic pain in my lower back. I was 24 and described the pain to him in great detail. He did not ask me questions and, without examining me, told me in a very condescending tone that he thought it was a lower back sprain and gave me muscle relaxers to take. 6 months later, I changed health care providers and was formally diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a debilitating bone disease. Had he taken the time to actually show concern or ask questions I may have been able to start treatments sooner.
