Dr. Greg E Fihn, DO

I have dealt with several co-morbidities for over a decade now, and I was very concerned about finding a good doctor here in Las Vegas. I know what works for me, I do research or treatments and medications, and I don't want a physician to mess with my regimen too much. I have been impressed with Dr. Fihn: he listens to the patient, reviews options with you, and allows you to have your autonomy. It can be challenging to get an appointment, but that seems to be the norm in Las Vegas.

All I wanted was a physical. He got my blood tests done. He sent me for colonoscopy and EDG. Since I didn't know what date my follow-up from the EDG would be, I couldn't make an appointment with him until after the EDG follow-up. So I tried to make an appointment to complete the physical and they told me I couldn't see him for another 3 months. After it took me 3 months to get my first visit, I think I need to start looking somewhere else. I could be dead by the time I get to see him again!

I have never visited a more careless institution. The doctor doesn't care about you. The office staff is rude and incompetent. They failed to send important medical records for my disability claim, costing me money! I called dozens of times within a 2 month period and they did nothing!! Horrible, horrible experience. They lost me as a customer and I hope you will reconsider this office if you care about yourself.

If you need medication for anxiety or anything else beside just what dr. Fihn Wants you to take. Don't go to him. He doesnt like prescribing medications for this. He will make you go to a specialist and then drug screen you everytime you need a refill. Which he makes you come to the office Every Month for. He truly makes you feel as though you are drug seeking or something else even though you do everything askes you to do. Also don't go out of state and need medication. He WON'T have it refilled for you even if the pharmacist calls. The pharmacist informed me he could refill the medication but chooses not to. VERY UNCARING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!

I have dealt with a number of mediocre physicians in this town, so I chose Dr. Fihn as our family physician because my insurer had him of one of their choices, so I was worried that I would find yet another mediocre doctor. His staff is efficient, polite, and most of all, competent. Dr. Fihn takes his time with your concern, lets you ask plenty of questions, and actually listens to what his patient says. I am pleased and grateful I've found a good family doctor. I am satisfied!

The most incompetent, carless and irresponsible Doctor I have ever encountered. If you value your health, stay far away from this Doctor and his staff. I have deep regrets ever consulting him. I’m changing Doctors after only a few weeks.

This man does not keep records of meds you had reactions to. He will re prescribe it in a few months to see if you react bad to it again. He will send you to every specialist he can for insufficient reasons. His portal is the sorriest joke I have every used. Never current. He hides lab results or he really does not send them out. He never lets you see your info put on the blood or urine tests samples. He has given me results that were opposit from tests I had got somewhere else. Beware, your safety is at risk with him.

I have gone to Dr. Fihn for 10 years now. He is a doctor that will LISTEN to you and spends a lot of time with each patient. He follows your health issues carefully. His office is very responsive now that the former receptionist has gone (she was a difficult lady). I use his new portal system to communicate with him. He even responds over the weekends to me, if needed. I recommend Dr. Fihn as a primary care physician.

I love Dr. Fihn and his staff, he brings in his lap top and takes notes and asks questions. You get a print out at the end of the visit of what was discussed, what meds you take and what dosages. The only negative is trying to get an appointment. You can't get in if you are sick......

I will not visit Dr. Fihn again. He has no personality and is not personable. He made me feel uncomfortable. His analysis afterwards I felt was inaccurate. I did not like him at all and will not recommend.
