Dr. Gregg Alan Ellison, MD

I am so blessed with having Dr. Ellison as my physician! After moving to the Central Coast over 2 years ago, we searched for a physician who would oversee my husband's heart issues, and, the Lord led us to Dr. Ellison. During my physical, I mentioned new back pain and with that, he focused on the cause and secured a surprising diagnosis of cancer. He immediately secured the top oncologist, got me into therapy and my recovery looks positive. So grateful to this dedicated physician.

I have been going to Dr. Ellison for over 20 years. I can say without a doubt he is one of the best physicians out there. He's always researching the latest health information and keeping up with the changes in the field. He is very thorough & always makes sure to give you his full attention. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great doctor.

While having a routine check-up. Dr. Ellison noted a strange blemish on my back. He made an appointment with Dr. Heffernan in San Luis Obispo. There it was determined that my "blemish" was a virulent melanoma. Dr. Heffernan operated on my back th next day, (22 stitches) and when I mentioned that I will thank Dr. Ellison, He remarked, "Well, while you're at it, thank him for saving your life. You wouldn't want to hear my prognosis if you waited six months for this to be removed."

I’m the 3rd generation of my family who has gone to Dr. Ellison. He’s given nothing less than excellent care to very one of us. I’ve been to other doctors, and while they were good, when I developed a condition they had no answers for, I went to the one I knew I could trust. I’ve stayed ever since. He takes time to listen to your concerns, and tries to treat the problem, rather than the symptoms. Excellent diagnostician. He gives a lot of detail on what the problems with your health are, what causes them, and how to alleviate or prevent them. His staff is friendly and caring. I’ve never had a problem getting in as soon as possible with an emergency, usually the day I call if they can at all possibly make it happen. Above all, I can trust his advice and diagnoses. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Ellison is on top of all new medical diagnosis. He follows up and is the most knowledgeable Dr. in internal medicine in my opinion in the area. I truly believe because of his knowledge prevented a stroke in my husband and diagnosed valley fever quickly. We both are blessed to have him as our physician!

We love Dr Ellison. We are so confident with is knowledge and treatment. He is outstanding with follow up. Love his staff also.
