Dr. Gregg L Zimmer, MD

I had two procedures by Dr Zimmer. The first was a septoplasty to straighten my S shaped septum and improve air flow. Prior to surgery I always had one nostril completely closed. After surgery and healing I can easily breath through both nostrils. The second surgery was an attempt to resolve or at least improve my severe sleep apnea. Dr Zimmer did a UPPP procedure which removed my tonsils, reduced the uvula, and modified the upper palate. After surgery my sleep apnea events went from 50 per hour to nearly zero.. I am now free from the CPAP machine which was the only way I could get any rest before the surgery. He did great work on me and my life is immensely better.

I was referred to Dr. Zimmer by a waitress in a local restaurant when discussing my issues. She had nothing but praises for him. I made my appointment and after trying office procedures, it was determined I need sinus surgery. In the hospital before surgery Dr. Zimmer explained the procedure, after surgery he explained to my daughter what had transpired and before my release (same day) he explained to me and my daughter what to expect in the days to follow. My daughter, a nurse, was very impressed with his follow through and explanations. I was recently told by my General Practitioner, that I should make an appointment with an ENT for my current problem. I chose once again to make an appointment with Dr. Zimmer. He has a great personality and listens to your health issue.

His office is all about the $$$$$. I had a terrible pain in my throat for months---nearly 6 months. He put a scope down my throat, made fun of me when I gaged, and told me there was nothing wrong with me....even though I could barely swallow and it hurt terrible. I have terrible ear problems since I was a little kid...he says nothing is wrong with me, even though I am in pain. He will not take the time to listen, nor does he seem to care. I am so discouraged and in pain....so I am searching for a new ENT doc. I have spent hundreds going to Dr. Zimmer...and I have not felt any better. He told me I sleep with my mouth open at night, that is why my throat and ear hurt???? I don't think so...my mouth isn't dry! DO NOT GO TO HIM....save your $$$$$
