Gregory Joseph Coram

I went to Dr. Coram after my previous doctor retired after treating me for 12 years. I purposely went to a doctor a month early to make sure I found someone who would not change my medications after being stable for several years. When I had my intake appointment with Dr. Coram he was concerned about my medications and had me sign a consent that I was aware and that I would still want my medications the same as what I was previously on. He agreed to keep my medication the same and I scheduled another appointment a month later since I did not need any of my medications called in at that time. This week I called to have my medications called in to my pharmacy. I received a message from Dr. Coram stating that he would not prescribe my medication even after agreeing during initial appointment to keep my medication the same as previous psychiatrist who got me stabilized. I asked why he didn’t tell me this at my I initial appointment and that I would have to find another doctor with only 1… week left of my medication. What I feel happened in my situation is very dangerous and want to make sure others are aware of this experience.
