Dr. Gregory James Davis, MD

I saw Dr. Davis a few times at the VA few years ago and it is difficult to express in words, my admiration of him, not merely as a man who is so proficient in his work but even more importantly, a human being that is so rare in his caring attitude. In all sincerity, I do not hesitate to state that if we had more human beings in our society like him, we would have less need for mental health care. Just one example that I shall never forget is how, when I was in a very upsetting situation with the local main office of the VA, I expressed my upset to him and almost like before I finished, he was on the phone to the main office trying to rectify the situation! He was not expected to be my "Perry Mason", but he cared that much!!! A good word for him as a professional and human being would be - "SPECIAL"! His responsibility was to be my Doctor, but he voluntarily took it upon himself to be my friend and that could not be appreciated more!!! He gets a sixth star!!!

A refreshingly insightful and understanding Doctor. Easily the best Dr. in the office where he works.He listens, interacts, understands and is HONEST. I wish i'd found him years ago.
