Dr. Gregory Mark Dunham, MD

Dr. Dunham is the best obgyn I have ever dealt with. He knows his stuff, studies his patients, talks to his patients, learns about them. He is very honesty, very open. Will answer any question you have. He is caring to his patients. Very knowledgeable. All around excellent man in the medical field.

I love Dr. Dunham. He delivered my son a couple years ago. He spends time with his patients and has always been there to answer all of my questions. He cares about people. One time I was supposed to have a surgery and I mixed up the dates and he rescheduled and came in to do a surgery on a day that he was supposed to be off! I was really amazed. He is a professional and the best in San Angelo.

Dr. Dunham was my ob/gyn briefly. He "treated" me during what was believed to be a miscarriage. He performed a D&C and monitored my hormone levels. I began to have severe cramping. I had never had a miscarriage so i thought the cramping was part if it. The cramping would come and go but was isolated to one side. I called Dr. Dunham's nurse to describe this pain two times. Even after I asked if this might be an ectopic pregnancy, I was told they would simply continue to monitor my hormone levels. I finally collapsed at work with intense cramping unable to move or call for help. When the cramps subsided some I came into the office to see Dr. Cainelli who was available at the time and had previously been my gynecologist. After describing my symptoms and doing a brief physical exam, Dr. Cainelli had me taken to the hospital and prepped for surgery. Did in fact have an ectopic pregnancy with a n obliterated falloppian tube and severe bleeding throughout my abdomen. I could have bled to… death. My tube and ovary were removed. My ovary removed to enable population only through the good falloppian tube and hopefully a future pregnancy. Whether the breakdown was in Dr. Dunham's diagnosis or the communication between Dr. Dunham and his nurse I will never know. Dr. Cainelli who had been amazing before this medical emergency saved my life. He also enabled me to have a child later.

Excellent doctor that continues a high level of care.
