I have used this doctor for more than one surgery. The last time I came in for breast tissue removal from my underarms. One side did well while other side swelled and drained and painful. I told him about this at first he did me a script for this. My arm hurt pretty bad did not expect that. He told me to take advil by the way did not work. My right side underarm looks bad I told him this. His statement to me " it doesn't have to look good for insurance to pay for it". Yes I did want this removed but this is also something that is seen and frankly, he did a awful job. I will not use him for anything again. His attitude toward the way I felt about my arm was asinine. And frankly I did not think it would look the way it does at all. His beside manner toward this situation SUCKED and I will not go back again.

I was referred to Dr Engstrom for my gallbladder issues. He was very nice, answered all my questions and concerns. He actually listened to me & based his decisions on how I felt, not solely on the test results like others have done. Highly recommend!

Had post surgery problems. Called him and he told me to call my GI doctor. I continue, 1 year later to suffer issues due to damaged nerves in my stomach and esophagus as a result of the surgery he performed on me

Dr. Engstrom is an excellent doctor and surgeon.

I had a lot of post-surgical complications but he followed me until I was stable.

Dr. Engstrom is extremely nice and genuinely cares for his patients.

He has done a wonderful job on me ive had and umbilical hernia my whole entire life and hernias are painfull and i had an outie about the size of a 50 cent coin. My first visit engstrom was very cool and down to earth and he listen to my concerns and was very caring. He's a people person and right away i felt very confortable. And also his staff are very nice people. It was my first surgery I was afraid and they assured me that i would be fine. Surgery turned out great and a few days later they called me to make sure I was ok. recovery was a breeze and he turned my outie into an innie thaank you engstrom
