Dr. Gregory Paul Gex, MD

I was referred to Dr. Gex by my old OBGYN who no longer practices here in Vegas. My experience throughout my 4th pregnancy has been great. I feel; despite what others have said in previous reviews, that Dr. Gex is kind and takes the time to listen to your concerns. He answers your questions. He doesn’t rush u in and out. He’s very calm and always takes the time to shake my hand each and ever visit.

He is mean, and unprofessional. I had surgery, was not suppose to have a general, but found out by reading my records I did. Was suppose to have two things done but only had one thing. He was rude and mean, and his bedside manner was the worst. He has problems with Fat ladies, unless you are going to have a baby. Also when he thinks his patient is out, he might want to watch what he says, for I heard the things he said. I do not I will never recommend him to anyone. I could go on and on, with more things why I would not recommend him. I am so sorry I went to him. He was the worst Doctor I have ever been to. Thanks.

Doesn't do you any good to try and talk to someone they promise to call you back and they NEVER do they make it obvious your concerns are of no importance

27 weeks pregnant. High Risk w/ cerclage on cervix. Lost late baby due to incompetant cervix in 2010 hence cerclage. After dealing with this office yestersay I switched doctors due to bad attitude with staff members and Dr. Gex- despite my being polite while voicing my concerns and questions with baby. Both office staff and Dr. Gex dismissed my concerns and brushed me off. Yesterday I contacted the office regarding a significant increase in fetal hiccups- from never to 4 times a day. Could be signs of cord compression, knots or fetal seisures. Could very well be normal also. When Dr. Gex answered the phone he immediately answered my question with a question. "Do you think we can do anything if there is a problem with the cord?" He repeatedly asked me the question without first discussing what I thought were hiccups and or the increase in these "hiccups". I would not recommend this doctor who's staff and he himself would respond so unprofessionally. If you're looking for someone basic,… are a repeat mom or don't have a high risk pregnancy then seeing this doctor is soley up to you. Dr. Gex' behavior showed me he could not perform under pressure- after me calling him out on his questioning me when he is suposed be an advocate. I stayed with this office because I first met with Jennifer Powers who was very commpassionate and thorough. I never saw her again, however, but she represented the office well. Bye bye dry office staff and burnt-out Dr. Gex.

As are most people in Vegas, I was a transplant from another city no where near close enough to make trips back to my previous doctor for exams. I experience an endocrine disorder that ties into reproductive issues. After going to another large practice that specializes in OBGYN with their multiple locations, I was treated coldly, dismissed by the doctor when I tried to explain my symptoms, then given BC and sent on my way. After a couple days, I began to react poorly to the meds and rather than let me come back in, this other place told me to "double up the pills and see if that fixes it." This advice was only after repeated calls to the office after they missed their commitments of when they said they would get back to me. I am not joking or exaggerating. "see if that fixes it" was seriously their words. In pain, freaking out and desperate in a new city, I didn't know what to do so I called my insurance and the incredible rep helped me scour through reviews of in network… doctors and gave me Dr. Gex's office. I called the office and explained what was going on and they were able to get me in within a day. Initially I was apprehensive about a male gynecologist but immediately upon meeting Dr. Gex, I knew he was different. He made me feel so comfortable, listened to me before making any decisions. Over the course of the last two and half years, I have had a surgery, annual exams, hard core treatments, follow ups and the best care ever possible. Dr. Gex is open-minded and dedicated to treating the core issue. I am deeply appreciative of Dr. Gex and his team and everything they have done. I only wish I had a cloning machine to copy them, as every woman deserves health professionals of this caliber.

I have never had a dr like him since the 1st visit i had it was awesome. He has delivered both of my children and he makes sure all of our questions are answered because my husband also goes with me. He also makes sure i understand everything he tells us. Thank you dr Gex.

Finding a GOOD doctor in this tough is rough. Dr Gex is as good as it gets! He is a fantastic doctor, very informative and takes the time to really care for his patients. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Gex and his staff are wonderful! they helped us with 2 difficult pregnancies and we have 2 beautiful and healthy children because of his care and and concern for our health and well being.
