Dr. Gregory John Hattan, MD

I came to Dr. Hattan with debilitating chronic pain, consistent with endometriosis symptoms. He performed a 'diagnostic' laparoscopy on me in which he did not find endometriosis (yet didn't take tissue samples to rule out other causes), & afterwards did not provide ANY further observations or suggestions. I had to write a 5 paragraph essay to his Nurse to get a referral for diagnostic MRI imaging (after she initially told me they couldn't because my surgery results were "negative"). "Diagnostic," to me, does not mean "look for only one possibility," but I guess it does to Dr. Hattan's office. The report from the radiologist noted some unusual findings, yet when Dr. Hattan's office called me about the results they simply said it was "negative". A few weeks ago I finally got an appointment with a new doctor. I was looking forward to hopefully getting at least some insight before my insurance ended. Bryan Women's Health called me an hour before my scheduled appointment to tell me that… Dr. Hattan spoke with this other Doctor, and they decided to refuse care to me. She said they decided there was nothing further they could do! How about that? So instead of telling me this when I scheduled the appointment (so I could have time to find a new doctor before my insurance ends), they decided to call me 1 hour beforehand. They also tried to blame it on me, saying that I refused their suggestions for management of symptoms (such as prescription drugs). I guess I have a hard time understanding how you treat something when you have yet to identify the cause. I have debilitating pain that prevents me from doing my every day activities, so there is a problem, and I want to know what it is. And now I have no insurance, no answers, and no doctor interested in finding any. Dr. Hattan went from being simply unhelpful, to Actively preventing me from recieving care today. Aside from all of the stress and insulting disregard for my feelings by Bryan Women's Health, I'm mostly just amazed (and depressed) that this all really happened. It's also strange to me this guy has so many great reviews. (I mean, not in any of my interactions with him did he give a single suggestion about what might be wrong with my body to be causing such terrible pain all the time, not one indication that he was interested in figuring it out). Maybe he's really great at delivering babies or something! I just wish he would have referred me to someone that's actually interested in diagnosing problems a longggg time ago so I wouldn't have wasted my time, money, and energy.

This is my thrid kid that I have been seen by dr hattan he is very respectful. When a bad sisuation comes about he calms you down and gets u through it I have never seen him disrespect anyone and this would be,the doctor to choose people say when you are expecting you feel like you have to do a little seaeching fir the right ddoctor and you know when its the right one. I found mine

Dr. Hattan is a great OB! We met him with our 1st and are currently back again with our 2nd. Very good at answering questions and making you feel comfortable.Glad we found him!

I couldn't ask for a better Doctor! We moved to Nebraska, from Missouri, halfway thru my pregnancy. I was a nervous wreck to start over with a new Dr! But I know SO MANY people that recommended him, and so I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. I feel just as comfortable as I did with my previous Dr...who I wanted to bring with us when we moved! :) So..thank you Dr. Hattan! You are awesome!
