Dr. Gregory Reece Holt, MD

Particularly inexperienced, suggested surgery without even looking at my imaging. He couldn’t even open the file on his computer, lack of expertise with technology perhaps, I had to show him where to open - to his luck I know how to use a computer. Did a follow up and he had even a bigger bully-ish attitude. bad experience, this guy wanted to open my knee for something another doctor said therapy would be enough, and it was, Dr Hold didn’t read the imaging correctly I guess, easy candidate for AI replacement, can’t believe he practices like this.

I just want to know why I'm still having knee pain,I need second knee done,but afraid because Im not fully satisfied with this first knee,I have no complaints with his bed matters n good staff,even I still have a balance I can't see him because of this,my knee hurts every day,I would like to know the name of the hardware used

Dr. Holt is the best Orthopedic surgeon I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I have had 7 orthopedic surgeries, but Dr. Holt did the best of the 3 doctors that did my surgeries. His bedside manor is outstanding and his knowledge and abilities are second to none.

Dr Holt performed both mine and my husband's total knee replacement. He is an excellent surgeon who values your time as well as his own. We both loved Core (which is where you go for your surgery). He uses robotics for his replacements which comparative to other people I know, this method does a lot better, heals faster and is precise. Dr Holt has an excellent bedside manner. I have complete trust in him. I will be getting my other knee done soon! I would change insurance companies to make sure I could stay with him! I do not understand why his reviews are not a 5.0!

Dr. Holt is the best doctor for a former athlete like me. He’s attentive, patient, and provides excellent advice. Highly recommend!

Has shifted too much of after care to his PA. Will not be using him again.

Excellent Dr. Caring manner. Really listens to your concerns and answers all of your questions. Has done two knee surgeries and I’m completely satisfied.

Dr. Holt waited til I sped from Muskogee to The Orthopaedic Center Monday to stay and diagnose my broken fibia. His entire staff treated me with dignity and expertise even though I kept them well after 5:00pm..I was in a walking boot and wheeled out to the front door @5:30pm. I've had 2 separate surgeries and pain management shots and would go no other place for surgery. Dr. Brian Chalklin did the tumor in my finger and Dr. John Main did my ALIF lumbar surgery, both at CORE hospital in Jenks. Both were highly successful. Dr. Sai is the finest pain management specialist in the country. Monday

Dr. Holt is a likable guy, although somewhat dismissive - he seems convinced that he knows what is best, but not great at instilling that same confidence in the patient. I had rotator cuff repair on my left shoulder in Connecticut in 2005. Shortly after moving to Tulsa in 2009, I need another repair, same shoulder. Dr. Holt assured me he got it all fixed. Two years later, I was in for my third rotator cuff repair, same shoulder. He performed a surgery that he described as somewhat more extensive and structural in nature. I was on a therapy machine for 8 hours a day for 6 weeks. He said I would have a very slightly reduced range of motion in that arm, which is true - not a problem. But, that shoulder continues to be more painful and prone to displacement than I would expect based on his assurances.

I do my own research before the appointments. I ask a lot of questions. Dr. Holt answers all of them.That's important because I once had a veterinarian yell at me for doing research for my dog (who couldn't use a computer). I have always preferred doctors who will educate me in easy to understand terms. Dr. Holt does so cheerfully.
