Dr. Johnsen is an interventional cardiologist with expertise in cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and related interventional procedures, such as stents and atherectomy. He is Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Hillcrest Medical Center and Director of the Hillcrest Exercise and Lifestyle Programs. He completed his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma â€“ Oklahoma City, where he then finished an extra year of dedicated training in interventional cardiology. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency training at the University of Oklahoma â€“ Oklahoma City, where he also received his medical degree. Dr. Johnsen received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University.

Dr Johnsen has been my cardiologist for >10 years, i wouldn’t want any other. Him and his assistant are great. Great communication, able to get an appointment when needed.

Dr Johnsen is a very nice man. He takes the time to help you understand. His staff is also very nice and up beat. I enjoy my visits with him and also is staff.

The minute I met him, I felt comfortable to discuss my past and present medical issues. He reviewed my history, and medications. We discussed my expectations of his medical experience to my needs. Thank you Dr. Johnsen.

I find Dr Gregory D Johnsen, MD to be a very excellent doctor and person. He takes the time to understand my thoughts and concern as well as my heart health. Bill M Johnson Jr He make sound Doctor judgements. He does listen to you a human person and not only like a patient! This is very important to me. Sometimes I am way off base and he give me the time to come to terms with what he is suggesting in my own way. I value that attribute from my Doctors. It is one thing that make or breaks my desire to work with anyone. I have done a heart monitor, not a fun process! I have done a stress test, again not a fun process! I have done a Cardiac Cath, turn out to be a very rewarding process. The results made me so at ease with my problem. The Oklahoma Heart Hospital was a magnificent place to be for that Cardiac Cath. Everyone was upbeat and friendly to me while I was there. The lunch they brought me after was very good, I high recommend Dr Gregory D Johnsen MD and Oklahoma Heart Hospital… here in Tulsa Ok. Thanks to everyone that helped me.

Dr. Johnson didn't really listen to the symptoms and acted like there was not an issue. Scheduled several tests, not sure whether they are just to get more money or what based on his reaction in the office visit.
