Dr. Gregory S Kosmorsky, DO

The doctor acted like he didn't have time for me. He didn't review my MRI or anything else with me. He walked into my room without ever introducing himself. Then told me I need to see Psych cause there nothing wrong with me. Im pretty sure losing vision is a pretty serious condition and no I'm not crazy and making it up. I will never return to Cleveland Clinic for a problem again. Sad I use to think this was the best hospital in our area. I feel bad for anyone who has to see this dr. I wish I could have gave him no stars because i left there mad and confused.

I never felt so rushed in an appointment. He didn't take the time with me that I would have expected. I bet he spent 2 minutes with me. He didn't ask any questions or give me the opportunity to ask any questions. I would never recommend him. I've had better exams at Pearl Vision and Wal Mart. I feel he is about the number of patients he can see in a day rather than taking a few minutes with a patient. I wish I would have read reviews before scheduling an appointment.

I was referred to Dr. K through my neurologist (who I very much respect so I was greatly surprised with the poor experience I had) for special testing. He preformed a standard eye exam (which I had already had & found no errors , and was per of the reason my neuro wanted me to see a specialist) and said he could not help me as nothing was wrong. I tried to explain why my neuro had sent me but he wouldn’t listen to any of it. He would not answer my questions and treated me very poorly. I understand sometimes the best of the best docs do not have a good “bedside manner”, however the patient should always be heard. And once he gave me his recommendation he refused to answer my questions of how it was connected to my specific issue. I am seeking a second opinion for my issue. At this time his office has ignored several requests for the records from my visit. This is the first poor experience I have had at Cleveland clinic and it was very frustrating. Seek expertise at another neuro-… opthamalogist if you want to be treated like a human being.

I HAVE READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND I AGREE HES SMUG AND SHORT AND NO BEDSIDE MANNER AND MAKES RUDE JOKES. BUT, HE FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM WITH MY EYES. AND HOW TO FIX IT MADE ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE AND CHOICE TO DO THE SURGERY. I TOLD HIM I WAS SCARED HE WHEN THOUGH THE OPERATION WITH MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE. BUT I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THE SLOW VISION LOST FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS AND FINALLY AFTER COUNTLESS APPOINTMENT AND DOCTORS HE WAS ABLE TO PIN POINT IT IN ABOUT 2 APPOINTMENTS. NOW THIS STAFF IS GREAT VERY FRIENDLY

Our experience with Dr. Kosmorsky was extremely disappointing. He spent about 5 minutes with the patient during an appointment that lasted three and a half hours, and announced a devastating diagnosis with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. He barely examined the patient, and spent very little time with us reviewing the results of extensive testing. He did not answer specific questions about the diagnosis , except to say that inconclusive test results were probably due to patient error. Needless to say, we will be seeking another opinion from a neuro-opthamologist (MD, not DO) who treats patients with the care and dignity they deserve. Note to Dr. Kosmorsky: When sharing difficult medical news, try empathy and compassion instead of arrogance and sarcasm. It could do wonders for your bedside manner.

He's in a big hurry. Doesn't spend enough time answering important questions. He's quite full of himself and just blew me off. Save your money, go see Dr, Collins.

No compassion or care if your problem is something he cannot help with. Very disappointing

Dr. Kosmorsky was rude and had zero bedside manner. We took my sister to see him after she lost vision as a side effect of her brain operations. He spent maybe 5 minutes with her, didnâ??t perform a single exam or look at her eyes - he said "well they took too much of that part of your brain out. Pain will teach you to overcome that loss after you run into a few walls". The kicker is he NEVER looked at a brain scan or even had a copy of the surgical report to know how much was even removed - he didnâ??t even know the date of the operation! There is in fact visual therapy that can asset in this loss of vision. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY TO SEE THIS JOKE OF A DR. He was RUDE and after all my sister has been through she deserves more than to have this joker blow her off. These Drs charge BIG money for their time- they can at least spend some time with the patient and CARE about them. He even laughed at my sister when he said she couldnâ??t have a drivers license and she said… she didnâ??t anyway because of seizures, he giggled and said "oh yea thatâ??s right".

WENT TO DR. KOZMORSKI ON A REFERRAL FROM MY EYE DOCTOR,MY PROBLEM WAS AND STILL IS BLURRED VISION LOOKING TO THE RIGHT AND DOUBLEVISION SOMETIMES ALSO GETS MUCH WORSE WITH ACTIVITY,THE DR. CHECKED ME OUT FOR ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES AND SENT ME OFF FOR A BLOOD TEST FOR MYASTHENIA GRAVIS DISEASE AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS TEST RESULTS WERE NEGATIVE,THEN I WAS SENT OFF TO GET A EMG TEST FOR THE SAME THING,AFTER THAT CAME BACK NEGATIVE I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AND INSTRUCTED ME TO MY FAMILY DOCTOR,MY PROBLEM IS THAT THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION WITH ME ON WHERE TO GO NEXT,NO REFERRAL TO ANOTHER DOCTOR ETC. HE ONLY HAD TESTS DONE FOR 1 THING IS THAT ALL HE COVERS? I DOUBT IT,DOESNT SEEM LIKE THEY CARE

As a (now-retired) long time Cleveland Clinic employee, I was used to had-picking my Specialists based on their reputations and expertise. During a routine Ophthalmology exam, i was told that I had pseudotumor cerebri, and needed to see a specialist. As I'd know Dr Kosmorsky since he was a Fellow, I immediately said "I only want Dr Kosmorsky!" Fortunately, that diagnosis is something he sees. While the disorder is no longer an issue, i still continue to see him. He spends whatever time I need to explain things to me. He CARES. I live in Michigan, now, but continue to drive to Cleveland to see him.
