This is my 4th ablation with Dr. Moore, excellent as usual, could not be happier

I’ve been going to Dr. G. Moore for pain management for a few years. My back has lost 4 inches over 46 years. So that’s a lot of bone on bone. Dr. G. Moore always has a staff that work like a well oiled machine. Everyone knows what to do and the job gets Done quickly. I love that his staff will answer my questions or at least find out the answer. I recommend Dr. G. Moore to all my friends of any one who knows I have a neurostimulator in my back.

I have had chronic pain with multiple sites on my body. Through Dr. Moores procedures and regenerative medicine I have a new life now! I had an extremley difficult jog which would just pound my back and knees all the time. They got me through 15 years and now I am retired and after my last RFA I am a new person!! I cant say enough about Devon Parks. She has so much knowledge and every time has chosen the right procedure or care for me! Fantastic and qualified team!!!

My experience with Dr. Moore was at first, insulting to say the least. I was referred to him by another pain doctor who "fired" me because I missed a second appt with them because I had to have surgery on a blown disc. Yes, this is true! Anyway, I explained this to Dr. Moore and his demeanor went "south" for the remaining visit. I know he thought I was lying and I'm sure he thought I was let go because of something more sinister like misusing my pain meds. He reluctantly prescribed me a low does pain med. next visit his bedside manor was professional and kind. He must of read my medical records from my previous doctor and realized I was telling the truth. Anyhow, after seeing him several times I was soon seeing his PA, Devon Parks. All I can say about this is THANK YOU! Absolutely wonderful, charming individual. As far as her medical expertise, she was amazing. She listened to everything I said. I was going through a rough time in my personal life and she was very… compassionate both about my physical pain and emotional pain. What was amazing about her was that she remembered who I was at each three month visit. I didn't have to explain to her what was going on and what she had done the last time I had seen her. Devon was a god send! Unfortunately, she moved on to begin helping Dr. Moore with injections and surgical procedures ?? Then I was introduced to Dana. Never got her last name, didn't care to. She was another PA. After having a wonderful experience with the clinic, getting pain relief from injections, appropriately prescribed pain medication and having a medical provider who actually cared for her patients, all was taken away with the introduction of Dana. I seen her twice. First time I was told my medication was way to strong and she wouldn't be continuing this. She didn't bother to look into why it was this strength. (15 years of pain meds (tolerance)9and absorption issues due to other medical issues). Three months later, after having a total knee replacement I walked into her office and was asked how my knee was. Told her great! She said fine, I was no longer getting pain meds!! I asked her why. She told me my knee was good. I asked her what about my back pain? This was my main reason for being here? She acted stunned, like she didn't even know I had undergone 4 back surgeries. She was kind enough to let me know I could continue to get injections but no pain meds. With no explanation I asked again. Finally it was explained to me that because I reported that 1 bottle of my bottles pain meds were either stolen from my car or fell out while taking a slew of Christmas presents out of the back seat (the meds were still in the white bag under the present) and may be in my parents driveway under 3 feet of snow . She told me my behavior was "abhorrent " and was cut off just like that! Through the years I was treated by the clinic I had never had a bad UA, never expected them to replace these, I was aware of the policy, this isn't why I reported it, I thought I was doing the right thing by being honest and reporting this to them and the local police. Anyhow, Dr. Moore is a very good doctor and what was great was that my awesome neurosurgeon, Dr. Miller works with the clinic, so if I needed surgery or other questions regarding my back they could confer with each other. Haven't found one yet who gets the injections where they help. But Devan Parks, AMAZING! If Dr. Moore cares about his patients, he will put her back in the office with her amazing bedside manor and truly caring demeanor and put Dana in the Procedure room with a mask ?? over her face to cover her rude, demeaning, judgmental attitude toward their patients.

For the first time I felt like I was being believed and treated with respect. It's worth the 3 hr. trip to be treated by him and his staff.

Make's sure I'm totally under in the O.R. before starting unlike other doctors at N.S.I.

I am surprised to see such negative reviews here about Dr. Moore. I have been a patient at the Neurospine Institute for years now and I find him to be competent, confident, experienced, quick-witted, effective, kind, and he gets things done. This is the bedside manner I want. If you need to talk go find a supportive talk therapy group or individual counselling. If you want to learn more about your back problem and pain control without ruining your life using unlimited amounts of narcotics, go see Dr. Moore. And if after a week you are still in considerable pain, make another appointment and ask for help. They will help you. Somewhere along the line the potentially devastating effects of narcotic pain medication overuse/abuse seems to have become forgotten. The stuff is dangerous and expecting any doctor to poo-poo that and just fill-er-up to the rim each month without trying anything new is preposterous. Especially if the two of you have just met. It makes sense to me that with… a new patient, a pain management doctor would want to understand where a patient's tolerance levels are and quickly recognize any dangerous behaviors related to narcotic use. What better way than to drop that patient's current dose a bit and see their reaction? I realize how this sounds, but, if you stick with him he will take very good care of you. Just don't mistake his confidence, competence, and quick-thinking for arrogance or indifference. He's not rushing. He's in and out quickly because he has actually read your chart, has some ideas, is ready to share them with you, and is ready for you to go home and see how you feel... and we chronic pain sufferers know that there will be many many more appointments and many opportunities to discuss pain relief options... including adding more narcotic pain relief.

If your serious about trying to find an option to effectively manage and reduce your pain chronic or otherwise, then look somewhere else. I did not have a positive experience with this doctor. I was sent to him for postoperative pain management after a very serious surgery; that has an average recovery time of 2 years. I was sent to him 4 months after this surgery, a necessary surgery that they compare to organ transplant. I went to him seeking an option which would perhaps help manage the extreme pain I was in. I was dissatisfied and concerned with the medications I was currently having to take. I found him to be smug, inattentive, unresponsive, unreasonable, not to mention overpriced and a bit dangerously stubborn in his opinions on effective treaments. He gave me incorrect iinstructions about taking a medication even after I was calling them about the unusual reactions I was having. The emotional, and spiritual pain I went through dealing with his office to… try and switch doctors after that comibined with the extreme pain I was in was nearly unbearable. Give your money, energy, time, and efforts to someone else.

Dr. Moore listened with interest to my multiple complaints on pain. He changed my medication which helped and he has plans to do some tests and procedures that none of the other pain specialist ever mentioned. I am hopeful for results now that I have a doctor who really wants to help. The employees working with him are very nice and friendly. Appointment times are kept on Schedule. I have been to the office several times without any problems.

All his treatments were useless, and his standard is to reduce the prescriptions that left me in more pain. He refuses to answer questions and told me I did not have a good memory when HE would forget and then when I showed him my notes that I take at every visit, he'd recant but still proceed with his arogant, pronouncements. I can take doctors who may not have the best bed-side manner, if they know their stuff- this guy is rude AND ineffective.
