Such a caring perspective on difficult decisions I had to make about surgery. Doctor saw me before surgery and his follow up after surgery showed great personal care. Would highly recommend him.

Made me feel like I was wasting his time. Very arrogant. I had been having sharp pains in my groin area. I had been to the ER a couple of times prior to seeing this specialist. I was diagnosed in the ER as having a hernia. When I went to see this doctor he told me he could not find anything. I knew this could not be so. Once again I went to the ER at another hospital doubling over with sharp pains. The ER physician confirmed again I had a hernia. The ER physician referred me to another surgeon which I went to see. The surgeon I was referred to not only felt the hernia right away but she also found one on the left side as well. Within the week I was having double hernia surgery. For someone who is a specialist and could not find anything wrong? I was told the doctor could not find anything wrong because it was not flared up. Nonsense. The second specialist found two and for sure the left side was not flared up but she found it. Worse part, I still had to pay for services… rendered for nothing. It was the hardest bill to pay. I would not recommend this specialist.

Went in ER with pains. Wanted to do exploratory surgery on me. Had x-rays and scans done. Found the problem but wanted to do surgery the next day. While I was still admitted in hospital I found a specialist for what my problem was and I was shipped to another hospital by ambulance. Spent 1 week in hospital, treated with medication, and sent home without any kind of surgery. I am perfectly fine now. He was rude and lectured me but didn't disagree and understood why I preferred seeing someone who was a specialist in the area I needed. Bedside manner was horrible and he made me feel stupid. Do not recommend.

It seems to me that it would be rather easy for someone in the office to pick up a telephone and call to say the doctor is running an hour or two behind instead of expecting the patient to have to wait with only a "sorry" when they are seen two hours after the appointment was scheduled! Please consider this suggestion!
