Dr. Pollack joined the Cancer Care of WNC, PA staff in August of 2009. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.

After graduating from the University Of Florida College Of Medicine, he moved to Salt Lake City for his internship and residency at the University of Utah, and then spent a year as Chief Medical Resident. Following this, he moved to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah for his fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.

Dr. Pollack is married to Dr. Jennifer E. Warren, who specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, and running throughout all of Western North Carolina.

Dr. Pollack is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

He does not have the best interests of the patient in his treatment.

I first met Dr. Pollack in Sept.2009. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was scared out of my mind. He made me feel so important and so comfortable that day in his office. My husband was a little skeptical of his age and in fact he questioned Dr. Pollack about it. I have been going to him since that time and he is the most caring and compassionate Dr. that I have ever had and believe me I have a few of them. He always takes the time to talk to me and is very concerned about everything that I am going through. HE IS THE BEST !!

Dr Pollack truly cares about his patients. After my two year anniversary from diagnosis of stage 3 C Colon cancer, at 45 years old I played in an allumni football game. Dr. Pollack even though he told me I was crazy, came to watch me play in the game. I highly recomend him to anyone that is facing cancer. He was great through all of my treatments and there whenever I had any concerns.

Dr Pollack is organized, caring, detailed and has a great approach to potentially serious health issues. I went with my mother to her appointment with him. He immediately puts the patient at ease and has an very positive attitude as does his staff!

On my first visit, he was running a late, and was extremely apologetic, which is a first for me and a doctor. Despite that, he spoke with me for an hour and half and wanted to make sure I understood the details of my diagnosis. It was bad news, but he was warm, compassionate, and honest.
