Dr. Gregory Paul Stiener, MD

Dr. Stiener is the most wonderful, intelligent and experienced man. You are extremely lucky if you ever get to work with him.

Dr Steiner was my clinician at a Bradley partial program about TEN YEARS AGO. Speaking as a person who is now training to be a medical and mental health provider myself, Dr Steiner is the only clinician I have encountered who I seriously questioned their desire to do good versus do harm. When working with teenagers, he showed low sensitivity, had a tendency to speak over patients, and was often unnecessarily callous and rude. When meeting with my family members they reported his bizarre affect, apparent disinterest, and general rudeness. I have seen many therapists, counselors, and MDs as a patient living with bipolar ii and feel qualified to make this judgement. Because I so often flash back to some of the things he said that we’re hurtful, mean, and uncaring, I took the time out of my day to find this reviewing platform to let other potential patients know. Please see a different provider. If there were a way to give him 0 stars and still be able to write a review, I would.

It is clear that just anyone can write a review on this site because this man was an absolute GODSEND for my son and for the children of two of my friends. He is approachable, smart with kids, intelligent in his feedback and careful not to overmedicate. I can't say enough good things. The problem is that he is closing his clinical practice so that if you are in a hospital environment you are more likely to meet up with him. In any case, I've worked with him for the past ten years and he is absolutely THE BEST.
