Hi, my name is Natalie, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Rhode Island. I specialize in anxiety, depression, college & graduate student mental health, insomnia & sleep issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), stress management, life transitions, and burnout. I’ve been in nursing for 2 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Vanderbilt University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My style is thoughtful, patient-centered care. I focus on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where your concerns are listened to. I practice collaboratively by working together with patients to help them succeed with their mental health treatment goals. I take a holistic treatment approach that incorporates medication management along with …lifestyle modification and patient education to help create the best individualized treatment for each person. As a psych NP, I like being able to integrate psychotherapy-informed care with medication management.

I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process. I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
