After seeing an orthopedic “specialist” at Emerson that didn’t have any clue of what the issue could be, I decided to see Dr. Waryasz, after seeing many positive reviews. My entire appointment with him was about 10 minutes(5 mins with assistant and 5 mins with the doctor), where I was told that MRI didn’t show anything in the area where I have a problem, and I was told to have another procedure to determine and hopefully diagnose what the issue could be. I was shocked to find out that I got charged $776 for this appointment due to its “complexity”. It’s incredible what medical institutions/doctors are allowed to charge and for a visit.

Has done nothing for me but push me off to PT and pain Dr with no diagnosis other than tendonitis. MRI tells other issues. I emailed them asking what next steps are after PT and pain Dr and they said call our office if you need us. ??? No thanks.

I had Dr. Waryasz and team do a complex hardware removal and arthroscopy on my previously badly broken ankle. He was easy to talk to, patient with all of my questions, and took the time to explain procedures in detail. Post-op medication instructions and PT regimen were stellar. I highly recommend him and MGH in general!
